Jusgot my Plat Card and ready for my NRT trip! No drink coupons which I wasn't expecting but hoping they might make a mistake. :)

For PLats, it would be another difference that CO could do! ;)

I got the SPG Gold CO miles promo. I could probably divert one or two nights toward it...have to see if the price difference is worth CO miles instead of HH points.

Crazy sale on DL JFK-MAD for $238 bookable on orbitz and delta.com. Im in for Dec 31-Jan 3.

I would say not worth it unless SPG has another stay 2 get 1 free.

That looks at it from the perspective of an SPG member. I'm merely a CO miles whore and I have Hilton status via credit card. :D

Did you get a ticket?
I am considering JFK-MAD Dec 31-Jan 3 but it kills me not to earn miles

Wow - tons of cheap European cities! ZRH, BCN, MAD, ATH, FCO and more...

ConciergeMike Jun 9, 2009 5:35 pm

Hmmmm. A 4P at a place I was thinking of going is cheaper than a Hampton Inn...

ConciergeMike Jun 9, 2009 5:56 pm

I hate people. I have capably proven this in the swimsuit thread.

Nice!!

Just booked a long weekend (12/30-1/4) in BCN for New Years! Routed the return via CDG to get a few extra hours in BCN in the morning.

The only hard part will be that I'll be ST nothing at that time. Perhaps it is time to go for that NW status match after all. ;)

We're thinking of BCN for New Years as well - although we're looking at 12/30-1/3. Unfortunately, I can only find the low fare on Orbitz - do they allow 24 hours for cancellation?

aloha box.

I'm way behind on the Box and FT but just wanted to drop in quickly. 4PT's PHL City Center is a wonderful surprise. ^

Quick recap of the weekend:

Canuck ended up getting the companion upgrade on Friday (:o)night but didn't last night. They were selling upgrades, so I call shenanigaii.

SoFl team  almost accidentally turned into team .
Apparently gbryan wasn't aware the Yankee Trader is now the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Resort, which is nowhere near the Diplomat. Well, I think he knows now.

Le Meridien Sunny Isles is officially status:  I asked them to show me where the resort was, to justify the resort fee. That on top of the mandatory valet was no bueno. Room was about the size of a closet.

Westin FLL had no running water and didn't have an operational keycard system. Ended up getting walked to the Westin Resort, which ended up being great. ^

Sheraton Suites Cypress is... ghetto. But fine.

I wonder if I will get credit for 4 stays at SPG because of the walk...

Regarding supper tomorrow, I'm up for anything. I only suggest Maggiano's because I saw it. Certainly don't need to do that if there's a better option on the table.

Off to zee gym.

The larger E's are nice - in Y, the first row is excellent. 5B is great - unlimited legroom (but no underseat storage) as the aisle shifts between F and Y.

Yes, I got stuck in Y but that's because I had just scored a VDB off a CR2.

What's the CO promotion? The (SkyTeam partner) one is 1,000 bonus miles plus 2 for 1.

Need to take the steak off the grill before it stops mooing ...

I believe the 1/3 return bumps the price up a hair from BCN (~$260, I think). That's what I was seeing on dl.com. Not sure about the Orbitz refundability but I'd guess no.

We're considering doing Andorra one day as long as we're that close to get the extra country.

The 1/3 return was bumping it up to $256 on Orbitz (with a non-DL codeshare flight thrown in) but well over $300 on DL.com. I purchased 12/30-1/4 and will discuss it with my fiancee over the next 24 hours before I'd have to cancel.

It was pretty weird buying her a ticket in what will be her married name! :D
