10L will be very comfortable.

Single file, don't crowd. One per patron, while supplies last:

Maryland Life Magazine! (Seriously, W-T-F?)
Real Estate Portfolio

Proto

Don't forget the audiofile magazine.

There was actually one good magazine in the P Club the other day - Business Traveler, or something like that. It had some really good hotel reviews.

Which P club? I spotted that magazine once at the IAH A Club, but haven't seen it since (except at CRCs, where it's always available).

DCA, yesterday. Didn't notice whether it was available at EWR the other day, and it definitely was not available in HNL.

I try and get a copy every month, as it generally has J (or F) reviews (with pix) of both mainstream and obscure airlines. This month's J reviews are of LA, AV & DL. Recent reviews have included TAM, Finnair & Austrian. On the aeroporn scale, I'd rate it an 8. It's also good for hotel reviews. I just learned (from this month's issue) that there's a nice Sofitel in Cartagena. It's now on the list :D

I went to a wedding at that hotel , It used to be a convent or something like that .
I stayed at a different hotel that was outside the city walls, that had direct beach access, But I highly reccommend the Sofitel.
COPA flies there from PTY. ( I went thru BOG ,huge mistake)

That was also rececntly written up in another magazine, as I saw it and I don't read Business Traveller. I was actually going to try to get the CM JFK-Colombia deal to CTG and use that hotel, but I couldn't make it work. Plus my designated Spanish translator can't get away from work for until mid-Summer, so I'm stuck going places that I can speak the language better (though I did get around just fine in Ecuador).

CO is being cheap at HNL tonight...

CO72 is overbooked and I was at the top of the list to volunteer. The are offering me a hotel and $300 with a middle seat in the middle section on the HNL-EWR direct flight tomorrow night (arriving into EWR Tuesday AM). I have declined as I need to be back in EWR tomorrow night. I found a good routing from HNL - [SFO or PDX via NWA] - IAH - EWR and the won't put me on there because those flights only have availability up front. Booo on CO! :td:

But someone ended up taking it, right? Curse the leisure markets.

In other news - anyone want to join me in starting an airline death pool?

Gimme AZ in the next week for $10. And XJet branded flights by August 1 for another $10.

I checked when I returned home yesterday, and the magazine in question actually was Global Traveler, not Business Traveler.

10L was more comfortable than 14A, at least in my opinion. 10L felt more spacious and had amazing legroom. 14A, while nice, felt cramped and was hard to get situated in.

Power did not work for me in either seat. On the IAH-HNL flight in 10L the crew was able to reset but it didn't do anything.

On the HNL-IAH flight the crew said, "we don't know how to fix that, the system just works or it doesn't"

I am prepared for the yawns, but I am using this "useful thread" to utilize my one and only 2000th FT post. Feel free to bombard me with "who cares" posts....
