Well, that's the next issue. The status is good until April of 2010, IIRC. So, I need to fly before then to get a shiny Gold card and luggage tags (as they don't mail you the card until after your first flight activity).

You have to love the attitude of the UA employees. In the RCC the other day, the bartender ran out of wine glasses and got really pissed that they weren't bringing her anymore.

So, she decided to give out wine in the pint glasses and insisted on filling them to the top. Of course, all the while, she was complaining about how they weren't bringing her glasses and it's their fault she's giving out all this extra wine.

Not that i'm complaining since it's good for me, but it was fun to experience.

EUA to LAX for tomorrow on the 752 has cleared :D

From EWR? Impressive!

My EUA for Friday's 611 (5:30a from EWR-IAH) has still not cleared. There are only 15/24 booked up front (according to PDA site)! Does CO really think 9 more people are going to punish themselves with a 5:30a departure before Friday? Oh well...at least I can have confidence that it will come in time.

Now we have to see if we can get in the pointy end for IAH-HNL, though I'm more focused on getting the revup for HNL-IAH.

On Seatcounter, both HNL-IAH flights are showing 2 up front. Keep your fingers crossed!

I think the computer saw my linked itinerary
and felt bad for me ( AA LAX-MIA Friday) and just gave me the upgrade.
I also have done that 530 am flight a couple of times , not fun at all.

Congrats! I just got one too, but mine's a lot less exciting — ATL-IAH on a 733.
