Sweeeet. Makes me long for the good 'ol days.

CRCs often carry local brews.

ATL - Sweetwater 420
BOS - Sam
DFW - Shiner
SEA - (Don't Recall the Name, but it was good)

I don't recall if the MSY CRC carries Abita. Will check next time I'm through (this weekend).

If the question was literal and is asking if US had killed one of my chickens, the answer is no. The only thing they've killed is my will to travel (and they didn't even need a gun in the cockpit!), but I'm no chicken.

The small claims court claim has to do with a refusing to pony up compensation for an IDB.

It is a beyond obscure reference to where law and aviation intersect. The US government was forced to compensate a farmer for dead chickens, because they had died from noise pollution from the local airport.

I was pretty excited about the Sweetwater last time I passed through ATL. But I was disappointed on the return when it ran out.

Is it sad to say that you used the word "enhancement" at least 30 times in a training session. Heck, I almost sounded like a CO Press Release.

Consider yourself enhanced and Have a Great Day!

Not sure about all of the CRCs in ATL, but I can vouch for it's availability in the BusinessElite lounge. Good stuff! ^

ATL is a zoo right now
My mom was enroute to EZE via ATL and she just called and said her inbound flight from EWR arrived on time but was delayed on the ground in ATL and not allowed to go to its gate.
She missed her connection and DL said they are not responsible and said come back tomorrow for your flight to EZE.
Not only is she CO plat , but was also flying in Biz Elite .
How is that not DL's problem , It was not weather ,
it was mechanical if they grounded all the md88's
I just called SPG and got her the Sheraton near airport and now
Im drinking a Weihenstephaner which claims to be from the world's
oldest brewery.

Weinstephaner Hefeweizen is my FAVORITE wheat beer! ^^

And that sucks about the flight, kudos for you to take care of your mom though...I'm sure you've earned brownie points for that. ;)

Found out that my parents may be flying on a DC-10 next month! I'm so jealous. NOT!!!

rolov Mar 26, 2008 9:55 pm

What airline still operates them ? Biman ?
or is it the one ALCO has requested a status match for

monitor Mar 26, 2008 9:56 pm

The DL situation is pretty bad right now (tho not as bad as AAs) with the 88s having heavy cancellations. I had one tomorrow (changed off it to a 757 to a nearby airport), one on Friday (Shuttle, nothing different to change to), and Monday, when we are hoping that the whole thing will be over.

IMO, it was probably only coincidental that rolov's mother was on an 88. Most likely her backup was caused by Traffic Control and DL is not really responsible for the big delay.

But like a good son, he took as good care of her as possible. ^

I relayed to my parents CO Insider's story about how he flew all the way to Zimbabwe just to fly a 707 ***and failed*** , and they decide to find a DC-10...

;)

Nah, it's a charter MIA-MAO to catch an Amazon cruise. Omni Air International. They seem to have 5 DC-10s and 2 757, so it could be the DC-10. Their "newer" ones are from NW, but now with 3-4-3 seating.

thanks
Her big issue right now is changing her domestic flight in Argentina tomorrow , to friday .
She may end up having to buy a whole other domestic segment .
