There used to be one of these at Action Park, aka Accident Park, in Vernon Valley NJ. I have no idea if it's still there.

Loretta Weinberg stated that if this happened in Bergen County, she would have blown it off.

When Intrawest bought action park\vernon valley the luge was shut down, I don't know that they ever re opened it during the summer.

Vernon Valley has (had? I haven't skied there in years) some great spots for that as well - you just had to watch out for the hidden rocks. :)

The installed an 8 passenger high speed gondola type lift, and mostly cater to terrain parks and stuff.

Interesting - sounds like they've changed quite a bit since becoming Mountain Creek.

Sadly, my skiing and snowboarding days are over due to bad knees from too many injuries on the snow. :( Apparently I wasn't indestructible like my high school mind thought I was...

The moguls had so many skiers with blown knees, I WONDER WHY?! ;)

That sport in particular has to be BAD on the knees, more than many/most others.
