Just booked a domestic 744 flight on UA. Hope they don't change the equipment on this one.

I still wish I could have made that happen back in November.

BD is running a promo whereby one can earn 5,000 BD miles per stay at any Wyndham property, up to 20,000 miles IIRC. Many Ramadas and other low-end properties can be found for $50/night or less.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll be out of the country or otherwise occupied for most of the promo period

This was the usual minor event in Manhattan. I have cxld my meeting near New Brunswick but I am wondering if it is wise for me to try to get to Millburn this afternoon.

That's the area mnmag lives in, so she may have a good idea. But, from what I heard the snow in the area was on  side.

I just noticed that co.com is saying that CO moved from Terminal C to Terminal A in SJC. :(

C was just so retro and the steady stairs were always a trip.

Herr Wizard, did you decide what to do for your AUS hotel? The Domain is kinda on the way down from where I live and we might be able to swing a ride for you if that is what you decide.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer. I think I will end up there but i'll end up renting a car as I have a 6am flight on Sat up to MSP to start one of the MSP-GEG runs.

I have driven by, looks nice enough, but parking is a whore in that area (unless they have a garage on the backside that I didn't see, which is possible).

No worries. I'm glad you'll be able to hang out on Friday.

FOR AUS DO ATTENDEES:

I would like to propose a mini-Box gathering at The Flying Saucer in Austin after the Sheraton reception. I've spoken with Starwood Lurker and he is likely to come with a group from the cigar shop after they get done there as well. It's good beer and good food and is away from 6th street on a Friday night. :-:

Morning Box! Snow in DFW this morning - so traveling home ought to be fun today. Heck - driving to the airport will be a challenge! LOL

beckoa Feb 11, 2010 7:03 am

Morning box - far too early for ANC 5 AM  but must pack for AS130 to ORD today (in row 2 ) - laundry is in the drier, but need shower...

I think it will be warmer in ANC this weekend then ORD :(

Oh, and another shameless plug for Spring Break in Alaska (in signature) :p
