No - do one lecture tonight, one tomorrow, grade 20 assignments, and I can coast until Monday

Nope....but I think jrzyshawn may have skipped the answer so I was telling him why that suggestion wouldn't work.

At least I'm going to finish off this Bud Light Lime today.

Hi Box, back after two weeks.

Did I miss anything important?

Oh, and I know I owe a few of you replies to PMs. I'll be working on those tonight. I was without a computer in the evenings over the last two weeks after the motherboard on my work laptop up and died. Despite the service contract my employer has with Dell for "next day service" for our remote employees, a full 12 days elapsed between my first service call and actually getting my laptop repaired. Between that, work crap, and a busy week last week at two clients in Texas and seeing friends or family nearly every evening, I've been swamped.

Anyway, it's good to be back. And sfogate, you'll have a PM soon. I heard via Twitter you were trying to track me down.

I must say I get mocked for using a laptop backpack now, but the fear of no computer backup drives me to carry my work laptop and netbook almost everywhere I go ...

In reality I understand why, my real pet peeve is when you're T-10, boarding hasn't started and the flight is still showing on time.

Eventually they posted the delay and told us to check every 30 mins, but until that point it wasn't safe to wander over to the club out of fear one may miss their flight.

Are you flying US? They never are honest about their delays, especially if you aren't flying mainline. (I have had US Express flights that showed on time up until they were cancelled, 30 minutes after the supposed departure time.)

Sechsundvierzig für mich.

With the exception of two already booked flights on US, (part of a UA MSP-GEG run), I intend NEVER to step foot on US again and will do everything in my power to make sure they fail and die a horrible death.

They make Tower Air look like a stellar airline.

I'm off to record a lecture - maximizing firm value given constraints. Be back in a bit.

I am an anal-retentive vacationer. :-: Way too much detail being built into this SFO trip.

Oops. I forgot about your fun experiences with US. And I even read your blog, too. I just read CLT and assumed.

Some of us have no choice about flying US (though I avoid them if at all possible, and our TA isn't fond of them either).

I have managed to get by as best as I could with a BlackBerry for work e-mail and my personal phone for everything else, but spending much time on the web was a pain.
