Greetings from the great white north

I know many like to visit the warm tropical areas of the world for Spring Break... including Hawaii and the Caribbean... heck even some end up in Mexico or Down Under...

Then there are flyertalkers... :D

The Second Annual Alaskan Spring Break DO - March 12-14, 2010 is designed for the latter... and should be much warmer then last year's event... ANC is as far north as we are heading, spending time on the Kenai Peninsula.

A couple FTers have been hard at work trying to arrange some cool tours, and activities, driving along a scenic byway, among other activities.

Hope to see some box representation! :D

It's not a real voodoo doll, but it's the closest thing I can get for you at the moment :-:

That was fun. :D

Two pins thru the heart. Slashes thru the head and chest and two burn marks on the limbs.

Great therapy.

It sounds like fun but sadly I can't make the fun.

My wife used to live in ANC and I would love to visit but we've got a trip to SAN already booked.

Earlier tonight, my wife and daughters were watching last night's American Idol on the DVR. Apparently, Victoria Beckham is going to be a guest judge next week. My wife was trying to explain the Spice Girls to the girls and asked me if I knew the names of all five of them.

I knew all of them. :o

Stuff like this is crowding useful information out of my head.

In reality I understand why, my real pet peeve is when you're T-10, boarding hasn't started and the flight is still showing on time.

Eventually they posted the delay and told us to check every 30 mins, but until that point it wasn't safe to wander over to the club out of fear one may miss their flight.

I hear you loud and clear. As a GA working a rolling delayed flight, I hate having to deal with stuff like this. It makes no one happy.

LOL.... apparently you thought is shared by the Bartender this evening at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tulsa. I order a Gin and tonice and in a 10 t0 12 oz. glass he poured 9 to 11 ozs of Kettle One and a splash of tonic. I will be out shortly!!
