Apparently I was not to move this week. The weather in OKwas trying to make sure I dont make it out. I flew in my adopted brother yesterday morning from Nashville to help me move and we got everything in storage yesterday. We then drove back down to OKC to stay overnight to make sure he made his 8 am flight today. Dropped him at the airport and then high tailed it to SWO to finish packing and moving. His flight out of OKC was slightly delayed but he made his BNA connection so he could go back to work today.

As I spent the day clenaing and packing the rest of my crap the sleet started coming down. I decided to make the drive over to TUL. It seemed like the eastern part of OK was not getting the worse of it. It took me 3 hours for a normally 1.5 hour drive but with the mix of ice and snow on the ground I thought it best to be the Tortoise!!

Tomorrow I plan to drive from TUL to Little Rock. While it isnt far I think I may hit snow and ice on the way there. I then will make the finally part of the drive from Little Rock to BNA Saturday. Need to make it to BNA as my new land lord needs a sitter for the evening and I also want to make sure I make my Sunday morning BNA flight to NYC for te CNT DO!!

Hope everyone is doing well during this weather if you are having to deal with it. If anyone knows about the weather between Little Rock and BNA please share if you can as the weather reports in TUL are saying much past OK borders.

Now to finish that triple pour vodka tonic!!

LOL.... apparently you thought is shared by the Bartender this evening at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tulsa. I order a Gin and tonice and in a 10 t0 12 oz. glass he poured 9 to 11 ozs of Kettle One and a splash of tonic. I will be out shortly!!

My best friend and I were at the Palms champagne brunch on our last trip to LAS. The waitress got tired of bringing him refills of champagne and eventually started coming out with pint glasses.

The mixed precipitation has apparently just started lightly in Jackson, TN (one hour east of MEM on I-40).
