Caught up on the Box after an exhausting day at work. This PTY/MEX trip is perfectly timed!

If that's the case, I could use a PTY/MEX run!

I could use some place to chill and have fun right now.

I've actually had to stay in a Microtel (during an external site visit) once. Not so bad, actually. Happier once I have the 20k BD miles from my Knight's Inn, Day's Inn, Baymont Inn run ;)

Microtel is entirely stayable, unlike Knights Inn.

The Knights Inn I stayed in (yes, I stayed in all 4 BD hotels) had received the Knights Inn franchisee of the year award. It had been almost 173 ago but :D

The Microtel was in the MEM area and not too bad aside from noise derived from I-40.

Snow is very wet and heavy around here, but not accumulating seriously (yet). We just got a delayed school opening for tomorrow: 10 am. Works for me - I am actually glad not to lose yet another day of class, but the extra two hours of sleep will be nice! ^

Also, Brituchenite, glad that MissTeenBrit is having fun at my alma mater! :D

My sister is freaking out because she's supposed to fly LGA-FLL tomorrow night (last flight of the day, 7:45 pm) on SkyTeam USA and is worried about the flight getting cancelled. There is a weather waiver for rebooking but all the earlier flights that day look zeroed out, so I told her just to keep watching the flight status tomorrow and cross fingers...anything else, really, that's an option? (It's a leisure trip and she's in a party of 2, so if the Friday night flight doesn't go, then there's not much point in taking the trip at all.)

Oh, the horror of the Knights Inn we stayed in rural TN while driving from NC to CA. The horror...

A colleague of mine lost the A key off his laptop. He'd copy/paste every time he needed an A, which created some weird e-mails where he'd go through several fonts.

Along I-40, would that be Cookeville?

I seem to be repressing the location. It was about 400-450 miles from Raleigh. Strangely, there was a Waffle House nearby.

For dinner:
Mediterranean Platter [chickpea salad, grilled pineapple salad, tomato basil & mozzarella, calamata black olives, Feta] w/ mixed greens & grilled pita bread

Cookeville. It was officially a Huddle House when one took the left on the access road ;)
