Indeed. Butter all over the top waffle, then flipped it over to create even distribution.

No gravy?

Indeed. :o My apologies for bashing your metro area. Many years of disliking it does not get repressed easily. :)

It is my adopted metro area (though I was born here, I grew up elsewhere) and therefore I can easily see the  of life here. I do like it, though. Plus, we hublet natives are used to jokes at our home's expense...

I don't know - I've been to the former once (as part of Greasy Spoon Do) and the latter once (after a round of golf in St. George, SC).

As I recall, the logos are more or less identical, though in different colors, which led me to wonder if they are secretly owned by the same shadowy cabal.

I protested the level to which my chores today were completed, and my protest was responded to with flatus.

After a lot of nothing on my calendar, it looks like I will actually be going somewhere on an airplane next month, and I will probably even be flying on CO. Woo hoo.

My flights next month are on WN to CHI - at least I get PH CHI out of the deal.

We were asked whether we wanted our breakfast (eggs, bacon, grits and potatoes) to be smuthed. I had to ask her to translate. Gravy and onions was the answer.

I think it is a cheaper franchise or something, and they can reuse those terrible signs by just replacing the lettering inserts easily, since same number of chars and size.

It is akin to Best Western and 'america's best value inn' that suddenly happened due to being....booted.

Is it an involuntary downgrade? :D

Off to finish The Flying Greek. For anyone with an interest in WWII, this book is a sure win. Night, Box.

Oh the weather outside is frightful. I'm likely bailling on work in the morning. My part of NJ is supposed to have the worst winds in the entire area at 7 AM.

My coworkers in NYC told me I would probably be covering stuff from LA tomorrow. Sounds like things finally froze.
