Eh...cut him/her a little slack on that one. ;) I was probably pushing 21 by the time I was like "hey, I seriously could do this" - and that's after a lifetime of both vocal and instrumental performance, which was quite serious by college/end of high school.

I always enjoy the extra daylight in the evening, so you'll never hear me complaining about DST.

+1. Even one extra hour of sleep on a Sunday morning in the fall does not make up for the fact that I know that six months of wretchedly early darkness lie ahead.

You betcha.

I have a 6:30 am flight out of PHL tomorrow, plus I found myself a little behind on the stay credits, so I'm staying at the 4P tonight (first time there - I've always stayed at the Aloft in the past). Pitch black and rainy = in any case, so I figure I'll stick around till the laundry comes out of the dryer, fold it, and then head down.

1. I know just kidding about that, I will push to excel but not force a direction, that will be their own choice.

2. Wake up earlier, the day is still the same length, changing the time doesn't make it longer. Get up and take a nice walk before it gets insanely hot!

Well that was entertaining but it requires me to weed through them to find the quality ones. I feel like I need to shave after that.

Don't complain when 'your internet disappears' :D

Something's afoot at Palm Beach International Airport and it doesn't smell good

I haven't been down there since December, so I can't comment on the odor, but this is pretty gross.

That one is a classic. And I might tether before using unsecured internet in a residential neighborhood.

Both kids started reading in kindergarden.

The first time I read anything, I was about two and a half, and I was reading the newspaper at three. My mother had read to me while still in utero, and I guess it stuck. It's not like I started out with the easy stuff either. The first phrase that I read was "Blue Cross Blue Shield Claims Application". I joke you not. Picked up my grandparents' mail one day and asked what that was.

Happiness is a fresh Caesar salad and a cold Shiner before sitting down to some Super Mario Brothers.

Evening, Box.

Voting is always critical - I was part of the U.S. Professors at the Polls initiative (getting university personnel involved as qualified election judges), although the report incorrectly lists me as trained but never served. I was actually a chief judge for multiple elections ...
