Conducting orchestra's by age 7 as well ;) (actually while I love music, it is not my teaching forte or love, so it won't be my doing if that is the case)

I always enjoy the extra daylight in the evening, so you'll never hear me complaining about DST.

Always encourage reading. it's the biggest gift a child can have.
I have a 6:30 am flight out of PHL tomorrow, plus I found myself a little behind on the stay credits, so I'm staying at the 4P tonight (first time there - I've always stayed at the Aloft in the past). Pitch black and rainy = in any case, so I figure I'll stick around till the laundry comes out of the dryer, fold it, and then head down. |

Eh...cut him/her a little slack on that one. ;) I was probably pushing 21 by the time I was like "hey, I seriously could do this" - and that's after a lifetime of both vocal and instrumental performance, which was quite serious by college/end of high school.
+1. Even one extra hour of sleep on a Sunday morning in the fall does not make up for the fact that I know that six months of wretchedly early darkness lie ahead. 2. Wake up earlier, the day is still the same length, changing the time doesn't make it longer. Get up and take a nice walk before it gets insanely hot! |

Well that was entertaining but it requires me to weed through them to find the quality ones. I feel like I need to shave after that.
I am about to do that here in....27 minutes. |

Something's afoot at Palm Beach International Airport and it doesn't smell good
I haven't been down there since December, so I can't comment on the odor, but this is pretty gross. |

I read to my kids every night for years. I think I can still recite from memory most of the stories. Daughter did learn her colors very early and thanks to The Foot Book, she knew which feet were which since I also added moment to the readings.
Both kids started reading in kindergarden. Happiness is a fresh Caesar salad and a cold Shiner before sitting down to some Super Mario Brothers. Evening, Box. |

I distinctly remember going out of my way to put on my uniform to vote in the first election that I was home to vote in after I came home from bomb school. IIRC it was the 2001 NJ Governor's race. I was young and not nearly as jaded as I am today.
