OK -- am here in IAH -- waiting for my flt to COS that is now scheduled for 11:30p ('waiting for crew') -- orig. time was 9:25p! This is after a close call on the flt (that I SDC'd on b/c orig flt was delayed almost an hour!) So, I give up my EUA to change flts (by the time the door closed I was #2 on the upgrade list).

I am seriously concerned that this flt may be cancelled as it is an RJ! I already had to cxl the hotel reservation in COS -- as I won't be able to get my rental car until the morning now -- the place closes at 11:59p & the flight won't get in until 1:04a!

So, I've found that there is a Radisson at the airport that has 24hr shuttle service -- but I won't make the reservation until I get to COS & call them. The hotel that I was going to stay at -- was to get BD pts through Wyndham.

ETA: Yes, I have a cocktail now!

Being that your carry permit isn't honored in NJ, you'd be in big trouble. (but TN honors NJ's)

TN's established belief is that a permit from another state is accepted on the terms issued by the other state, provided it doesn't violate TN laws (e.g. restaurants serving alcohol, government facilities, schools, businesses which post signage prohibiting weapons). TN allows local permit holders both open carry and concealed carry but everyone I know carries concealed.

Cocktails are good (prohibited for me during Lent) and sorry about the flight delays / temporary loss of BD miles.

For all 12 people in this Godforsaken hole that have a full-carry permit?

My daughter is texting me pix of her giant lizard. Something that is co-op friendly.

The people at EDS are clueless. I've had the displeasure of working with them way too often and each time when I think it couldn't get worse, it does.

I actually got to work in the vicinity of Shares the last few weeks. :D

Decided on higher tier beer - my favorite New Belgium 1554 Black Ale.

I was amazed to find that Shiner netted out to $1.05/bottle (tax inclusive) when purchased in Delaware.
