A job got posted that I am actually qualifed for. The only issue is they are a non-profit based in Tampa. How do I get them to offer me an interview, where I can then deploy my mad skillz(tm).

I really cannot wait to get out of Texas - at least for my daughter's sake.

I hate how politics and religion interfere in a good well-rounded education. Politicians are the biggest enemies of a good education.

Very anxious. I still have to see my dermatologist in 6 months for a checkup.

I hate to sound stupid, but what are the symptoms of carcinoma/melanoma?

So far I've been lucky to not have developed this myself. I spent 30 yrs in the tropics without using sun screen either. I don't think sun block was even around back in the good old days...just baby oil for basting our bodies.

Great news for you as well.^

Thanks -- it's such an important facet of my life -- I really feel like it's all just meant to be! I feel very fortunate to be able to keep myself in shape -- in all aspects -- through NIA! ^ However I don't feel the 'calling' to teach it, though!

Teach your child supplemental to the public school.

Many options, public schools everywhere suck, and they keep dumbing down education more and more. Even our top schools pale in comparison to other countries.

I mean no insult to our resident teachers, but they are simply not allowed to teach properly, or have to clean up other messes left behind by those that don't teach.

That chron blurb is hard to follow as well, "All 10 board Republicans voted against her." her is Mavis, or Cynthia?

It's 'insurance' to make sure that things stay clear -- that way!^

I also know of a young mom who died from melanoma that metastased,:( So, incredibly sad!:td:

In my case, certain freckles are a lot darker than they have been. In one case, I had a freckle that started to bleed when I picked at it. It never healed up. It just left a scab. I had that for a few months, and thankfully my wife (gf at the time) told me to get that looked at. 'Twas a wise decision. I don't know what melanoma looks like. I'm afraid of looking at samples.

Your cover letter has to show very early you have some legitimate connection/tie/affinity to the TPA area. Otherwise your application is viewed as haphazard/shotgun.

You know it's actually good to go to a public school. You can supplement the school's teaching with your knowledge of the other view point. Plus it teaches kids how to get along in the real world. Life isn't always a bed of roses and every kid needs to learn how to deal with a broad variety of view points, idiots and so on.

It will make those dinner conversations interesting.
