Not to get political, but I see something good in that photo. It's a kid at a political rally. Who cares what side he's rallying for, the fact that his/her parents took the time to involve their child in the political process is important.
We recently did a little mini-study within our district, asking kids whether they think voting is important, ~75% responded "Not really". When I saw people taking their children to the polls with them, I thought "man that's great!", I don't really care about whether or not their voting for Governor Goodhair. |

You should hear our dinner conversations with regards to politics. I am a die hard Republican and so is my son ^, while husband and daughter will always vote Democrat :td:.
I once thought people could be in govt and not let it get to them, but it is not true, everyone had the political 'game' get to them and they become the problem. I thought as recently as 2 years ago about running in the future, but my eyes have opened a lot since then. |

And so is the principal of your school. When my kids were in elementary school their principal died suddenly during the summer. The school board hired temporary principals and the teachers were left floundering. That year was a waste of time for both kids in terms of education.

God help me if I ever go through another elaborate traditional wedding ceremony again. Destination wedding or bust, I say.
