Why? That's a good way to get fat. Ok I work about 80 yards from one and I know I can avoid going there. (yes it is tasty stuff)

I heard one report today that some places on the east coast will receive enough rain this weekend to equal 30" snow. ^ to warmer temperatures.

We recently did a little mini-study within our district, asking kids whether they think voting is important, ~75% responded "Not really".

When I saw people taking their children to the polls with them, I thought "man that's great!", I don't really care about whether or not their voting for Governor Goodhair.

You should hear our dinner conversations with regards to politics. I am a die hard Republican and so is my son ^, while husband and daughter will always vote Democrat :td:.

I hate both parties, they are lying scumbag, blood sucking, no good, two faced......bodies that do not deserve to be called people or citizens.

I once thought people could be in govt and not let it get to them, but it is not true, everyone had the political 'game' get to them and they become the problem. I thought as recently as 2 years ago about running in the future, but my eyes have opened a lot since then.

And so is the principal of your school. When my kids were in elementary school their principal died suddenly during the summer. The school board hired temporary principals and the teachers were left floundering. That year was a waste of time for both kids in terms of education.

That is true, the principle is very important, the ones that are hands off and never in the classroom have more failing schools.

Some nights I think you can probably hear us arguing. :D It's funny but we all think California politics stinks regardless of political party but we do argue alot about what Washington is or is not doing.

I would be curious to know how many children in the distict were asked that question of whether or not they thought voting was important. Voting and understanding the ideas of electing officials is a concept that is taught to kids in Texas beginning in 1st grade. It is sad if they do not see that the worth of their voice.

God help me if I ever go through another elaborate traditional wedding ceremony again. Destination wedding or bust, I say.

I know a couple that did that and said it was the best thing ever. Very little planning too.
