Just looked at my portfolio and realized my allocation is odd for my age (but fine for my "number of years from retirement") - the top four holdings are Berkshire, a paper company, mini-Berkshire, and an oil company.

BTW - are mnmag and ConciergeMike still wanting a credential to the Berkshire Annual Meeting?

Will advise soon on that - must look at fares and the budget. My ETC from CO arrived last night, but OMA is not a good choice for mileage maximization.

The reception is April 30 and the meeting is May 1 - with the dilution of the Class B shares and more people, I'm not certain I'm going to attend. I do have to be in OMA the previous weekend ...

Well done ALCO! ^^ :D

Hilarious indeed.

Posting from my first Qdoba experience. Not bad at all.

There was a boat load of them in, of all places, Seoul and I also remember seeing one at ICN.

I've just put in a call to SY's press office to inquire about the inaugural flight to STN. Yeah, I feel a little bit dirty.

I noticed this as well - very odd considering how many of their US locations have apparently closed.

Don't they have to get ETOPs certified crews and aircraft before it can happen?

I prefer Qdoba over Chipotle. There was one Qdoba in the Houston area. It closed down sometime last year.:( The closest ones are in the DFW metro area.

Back on the Subject of Schools

Another reason I don't want my tax dollars going to the state board of education in Texas. It's all about politics and religion. Ignoring teacher recommendations because they're liberal?!? I trust the teachers to make better decisions about my child's education then those neanderthals. If we're still living in Texas when my daughter gets to 2nd or 3rd grade, I'm putting her in private school. Why is this state so screwed up when it comes to electing its politicians? Gov. Goodhair, Sheila Jackson-Lee, this State Dummies of Education, the Texas Railroad Commission(?!), et cetera.

Your local school board is more important that the state board in many ways...in fact in most ways.

I'm not sure you're going to find a school district or a state board of education that is going to do everything exactly how you want it.
