A  day already getting up too early (but not OH early) to dig out the plow debris. At least the two pass shoveling yesterday wasn't for naught. :-:

It took me 2 hours this morning to shovel the additional 5" that fell on our driveway after the two passes I shoveled yesterday + two cars (unshoveled yesterday) and the 2-1/2' high pile of ice that the plow left. I am ready for a nap.

Kewl. I'm concerned that I'm actually excited at the prospect of flying in whY on several new carriers. Perhaps I need a brain MRI.

Spare a thought for me, as I will be flying on Air Whisky CRJs this weekend.

So angry, it may compromise our relationship.

And even though I explained to her why I was so angry, she just doesn't "get it".

Oh, ouch. I've been there, a couple years back, with my two best friends at the time. I've never had a "friend break-up" before or since...and that's really what it felt like - in fact, it hurt more than some of my relationship demises ever did! I'm really sorry. :(

which weeks? no MRs available?

No commitments from March 4-21. There are (were?) several perfectly good MRs available but I'm in a holding pattern because my parents refuse to make any decisions/take any action regarding the family spring break plans (which are really not participation-optional, since they know that I'm on vacation).

Don't let it overwhelm you. I've been to panel interviews that had six people all staring at me. Remember who you are, what you're about, and let that shine through.

He's totally right. Remember, everyone there WANTS you to be awesome. They invited you to interview because they're hoping that you will show up and they'll know right away that the job is going to good hands.

It won't get to the stage that our friendship is lost. I'm too sensible and rational to allow that to happen. I know that I feel so angry about this situation because I, personally, have very strong core values about certain things, and my friend absolutely cannot see that by taking an action that she took yesterday she violated one of my core values. She thinks it's no big deal.

... so, it's more my problem than hers, because I have to reconcile my feelings and get myself to a place that is acceptable in my mind.

I am going to have a conversation with her this evening about it and then put it to bed.

It's not worth losing a very close friendship over.

I just needed to vent a bit, here! :D

The  are strong today.

You'll be fine.

Thanks, all. :-: I'm confident of my ability to put on a good interview performance...what worries me is the anxiety of wanting it so bad leading to stage fright or Sudden Onset Stupidity Disorder.

I'm going to go shovel the remainder of  off of my car so my other half can get to her accountant. After that, it's lockdown mode. Gotta do my printing and go over everything five or six last times.

Has anyone seen the STL-LAX UA run in the MR forum?

That looks tempting for the lines alone.

The fact that they spelled it "Wensdays" is confidence-inspiring. :-:

Their Wikipedia entry is also enlightening. If you've had your certificate revoked by Nigerian authorities, that spells Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y.
