Great time had by all. The Box Boys and the new Box Boy - Robert - were great fun to be around for the weekend.

Steve Gadfly and myself managed to get an earlier than anticipated train out of penn station, and so we arrived back at my house an hour earlier than expected - yay!

Cool! ^ Glad to see that everyone got home, safe & sound!:-:

Don't worry, Brit -- I know you displayed the epitomy of proper B:rolleyes:Xlady behavior!;):D

Sunny, but windy here (near EWR).

After a great weekend (trying a new restaurant that turned out to be wonderful Saturday, breakfast at the original Flying Biscuit yesterday and a nice walk around the neighborhood, Henry Rollins last night), it's back to the grind this morning. And a trip in US Y this afternoon. At least US let me pay $5 to get out of the middle seat they had me in when I checked in.

Oh, and did I mention that flight number two today, the longer one, is on a US 734 with 30":eek::eek::eek::eek: pitch? Yeah, that's going to suck.

Nope. Just probably got unlucky twice. All of my flights this year have had them except a couple where we were already running late and they were rushing to get everyone boarded as quickly as possible.

If anything, catering has had a slight improvement in domestic F recently. The new slider entrée isn't that good, but the salads have seen some improvement again, and food has returned to some flights between IAH and ATL where it had been just pretzels for a while.

Made it to CLT from JFK. Thought I was going to get a bump and that fizzled out. :(

I did learn the following while at JFK:

1. Lady at the Red Carpet Club did confirm that we as PC members should be given two drink coupons as we enter the club. I almost asked he for my two as I was leaving but she kept mentioning that they dont hand out the coupons until the bar opens at 8:30 am. Kinda cheezy if you ask me. CO is probably getting charged as if I got both the internet card and the drinks so why not give them to us.

2. Arrived at my gate for JFK-CLT with the bag I traveled with last week on the E175 and fit into the over head ok. The agent asked me to but on the sizing stand which I explained it fit fine last week. Put on the sizing box, which she said was a Star Alliance sizing box?? It was too big so I took out my coat and she seemed a little annoyed and said I would be fine. I then talked to the other agent about the possible bump and the agent that confronted me on the bag came over and said, oh you are Star Gold, you should have mentioned this as you can take that on board no problem. WHAT the F**K!! So she basically told me to pull the elite card the next time I get confronted about a bag not possibly fitting into the over head!!

WEll On the way home and once home, I plan on taking a nice nap and then rejoining the search for a job!!

That's definitely a "plus" if endemic for Homewood Suites.

They always offer a light evening meal of some sort Monday-Thursday, and if local laws permit, complimentary beer and wine. Marriott Residence Inn does the same.

COPA is inconsistant about the pre-departure drinks and when they do them they do fruit juice and water usually. Although on our return PTY-JFK, there was a CO MM that got a champaign without asking. THis was also the guy who fell asleep talking on his cell phone from what we could tell and when the FA went to wake him to get seated properly for take off, we all thought he was potentially dead as she really had to shake him to get him to wake up. Too bad the snorer on our flight hadn't started as he kept most of the cabin up!

Also it should be noted that the COPA FAs on the first weekend didnt do the trolly service for the ice cream sundae. This weekend on 3 of 3 sundae flights we got the trolly in the asile with the ice cream and cordials!!
