Hi, Box. Sounds like AUS was a great time for those who made it there.

Went to my first NASCAR race today. It was a great time, though a bit longer than I could focus on it for with only two hours sleep.

CO managed to cancel my return by marking me as a no-show on the outbound. The original agent I spoke with tonight (who did get it reinstated when I said it was ridiculous) said that the reason for the cancellation was that I called in and said I'd be flying on a different carrier. She wouldn't tell me the name of the agent I spoke with so that I could corroborate. I called back and asked the new agent to just tell me the time so that I could figure it out. Apparently I called to cancel while actually in-flight on the outbound.

The second agent was very helpful and even confirmed for me that the PNR history doesn't have the outbound flight in it so I know that I need to claim the missing credit. The first was an idiot.

Finally have the opportunity to sleep for more than 4 hours tonight, and not in a drunken stupor. I'm looking forward to it very much.

I would have freaked; did she? Beyond bizarre! Do we really believe it's catering and not "cuts"? I did have pre departure on both flights this week.

Anyone who is interested in donuts would do well to come down to Austin and load up on Round Rock Donuts.

Starwood had a couple of stacks of them at the Saturday morning breakfast and there were some of us who did not bother to finish the breakfast tacos because of them.

Did the time/space continuum change today????

I'm having difficulties seeing you at a NASCAR race. Most importantly, though, did you buy anything? :D

Did you BYOB?

I haven't seen the 7-11 or White Castle episodes yet - I'll have to catch up on them tomorrow. The show really does give an interesting look in to the management and front line employees of companies that normally wouldn't draw this kind of attention.

Glad to hear you liked it. We've been to that Zachary's twice. Both times were ^, even w/ the long lines. We also brought slices back to the hotel, but as we were staying in SF, we wound up giving the slices to a homeless guy (we took mass transit back from OAK after returning our rental car there). What's on the agenda for tomorrow?

If my wife and I are on the same PNR, will we be charged 1x $50 SDC fee (she's Silver) to move to an earlier flight or does my Plat status make it a free change for both of us?

Please celebrate/mourn with me. In less than 1/2 hour, I go from CO Silver to CO Peon. :( No travel planned either. C'est la vie.

So far, 7-11 is very good; White Castle was fantastic!
