Adding "today" makes this statement redundant.

Today my desire is even less than usual. This trip came down to the wire on finding out if I was going or not. Most of last week it looked like I'd be home this week. Then late Thursday evening I found out I needed to book the trip and get there for Tuesday morning. Mentally I had already laid out my week at home and was really looking forward to it. And, being forced into US Y for the flights because they were by far the cheapest option at the last minute just makes it worse. At least the CLT-MSY flight looks pretty empty, and all of the exit row seats are empty. I hope to grab one of those once I hit the ground at CLT, since the US phone agents can't seem to do it for me.

Did you happen to see the woman putting three dozen mini moos in her cheerios because she couldn't find the milk? Classic

ah I just walked out of the shower room and got my things organized, I doubt you are still there....

Ugly paycheck this pay period - can't wait to be on a full-year faculty contract.

That's part of the whole alliance thing. Single check-in for all flights. You just check in for the first flight with the carrier operating that flight, and you should get boarding passes for everything on the itinerary, with no need to check in again.

That's great. It has never been that easy for me back in the day of HP/CO and CO/NW tickets. ^

10 Downing just had some amazing food.

One restaurant to avoid is Eat Cafe in Greenpoint. I went into it with high hopes of some really good farm fresh food but came out feeling like I wasn't welcome because I wasn't "hipster" enough. Maybe I should not have showered that morning...

The first two restaurants are less than two blocks away from me. As for hipsters, all I can say is: :mad::mad:

After my last post, my body shut down and I passed out. Heading in to teh :rolleyes:ffice shortly...

I ran into the same often as a corporate trainer / support supervisor for "The Americas" - depending upon the schedules for the two of us, I would have horrendous last-minute bookings (e.g. the empty SkyTeam USA 737 for $700 ATL-TLH). I had an event with the then-mayor of D.C. on the evening of September 4, 2001, got home near IAD after 1 a.m., and had to teach in Florida at 9 a.m.

I miss the days of earning miles for cheap HP flights - I owned the DCA-LAS and DCA-PHX segments back when I had to spend a week in LAX every month.
