500mm? Now, that is a BBDS (or a BWDS if it's a Canon lens).

Made it to CLT from JFK. Thought I was going to get a bump and that fizzled out. :(

I did learn the following while at JFK:

1. Lady at the Red Carpet Club did confirm that we as PC members should be given two drink coupons as we enter the club. I almost asked he for my two as I was leaving but she kept mentioning that they dont hand out the coupons until the bar opens at 8:30 am. Kinda cheezy if you ask me. CO is probably getting charged as if I got both the internet card and the drinks so why not give them to us.

2. Arrived at my gate for JFK-CLT with the bag I traveled with last week on the E175 and fit into the over head ok. The agent asked me to but on the sizing stand which I explained it fit fine last week. Put on the sizing box, which she said was a Star Alliance sizing box?? It was too big so I took out my coat and she seemed a little annoyed and said I would be fine. I then talked to the other agent about the possible bump and the agent that confronted me on the bag came over and said, oh you are Star Gold, you should have mentioned this as you can take that on board no problem. WHAT the F**K!! So she basically told me to pull the elite card the next time I get confronted about a bag not possibly fitting into the over head!!

WEll On the way home and once home, I plan on taking a nice nap and then rejoining the search for a job!!

Wow! Thanks for all the helpful info. -- oh, my!

We'll be arriving about 1030 with two or three guests and can definitely guest in one more.

Nope. Just probably got unlucky twice. All of my flights this year have had them except a couple where we were already running late and they were rushing to get everyone boarded as quickly as possible.

If anything, catering has had a slight improvement in domestic F recently. The new slider entrée isn't that good, but the salads have seen some improvement again, and food has returned to some flights between IAH and ATL where it had been just pretzels for a while.

Maybe it's just two unlucky experiences. The F treatment for both flights was a little on the ridiculous side. The FA on my EWR-IAH flight walked up to me and said "What do you want to eat? We got ravioli and burgers.", delivered the food, then I didn't see him until it was time to pick up the trays and hand out dessert.

The salads are weirding me out a bit. My wife had one with almonds and feta, then I had one with pecans and feta. Both times the feta was a garlic/roasted tomato flavor and just didn't mix with the nuts. The large slices of tomato are a welcome addition though.

I have two NYC food recommendations. 10 Downing Street and Babbo Restaurant.

The Babbo pasta tasting menu = ^^^

10 Downing just had some amazing food.

One restaurant to avoid is Eat Cafe in Greenpoint. I went into it with high hopes of some really good farm fresh food but came out feeling like I wasn't welcome because I wasn't "hipster" enough. Maybe I should not have showered that morning...

G'day box from IAH E. Everthing is delayed .

How does it work with a UA itin that includes a codeshare?
I checked in with CO and have a boarding pass for my CO operated flight and CO also emailed me a boarding pass for my UA operated flight. I tried to check in with UA, but unable to. Do I need to wait until 24 hours before my UA flight or should I be able to check in at the 24 hour mark for the start of my trip?
