Happy Birthday Hartmann!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news, I missed my bump out of AUS, but Violist compensated me with Saltlick brisket.

However all flights to SFO are sold out, so it looks like there is still hope.

Sounds like you're taking a fairly straightforward UA itinerary home.

If you do not have 7 segments on a domestic UA ticket, you are not trying hard enough.

I'm debating on whether to try for 9 on my May BD run - there's one routing that allows a fifth segment (4 in F) on the return.

A few weeks ago the vending machine on my floor upped the price on soda from $1.50 to $1.65 :mad::mad::mad:. That was the last staw and I've been on a boycott since. I used to get at least one a day, sometimes two. So, using 5 as a lower bound and 10 as an upper bound, I figure they need to sell between 50-100 bottles at the $1.65 price to makeup for my lost revenue. So, poop on them.

I just wonder if they're noticing the effect. Presumable they operate all the vending machines in the building and if that's the case my 50-100 can be absorbed more easily. @:-)

One thing that is a good morning activity (if the weather is good) is to hike to the top of Diamond Head. View from top is fantastic, and the entire hike can be easily completed by 9 or 10 am. Then again, beach/pool time is never bad.

We plan on getting up very early to go out and explore before out flight so we might take a hike up there. Thanks ^

I am not big for snorkling so I think we are thinking of taking a scenic air tour one day in Kauai. I think we will book it once we get there.

I think the park where the starting point is located opens at 6 am. You used to need a flashlight to get through a tunnel, but I seem to recall that it was lit the last time I went through.

I decided two study holidays was better than one. Booked separate IAH-HNL and HNL-LIH flights this morning.

Cool!^
