I think every boxer that went to MEX snores, each to varying degrees. But I am not sure any one of us is as bad as the guy on our PTY-JFK flight....I don't even know how to describe it. He had at LEAST 6 different snore patterns from choking chicken to heroin snorting cow.

1A sounded like he was dying.

3E....Scott thought he was; he was OUT before pushback. I mean she had to shake him pretty hard to get him to wake and buckle up and bring seat up.

He also ended up being a Million Miler with CO/Copa as well, saw it on his bag tags.

He slept the entire flight except 15ish min, Steve thought he was snoring as well due to all the noise but I can confirm, he did not snore once.

It was very interesting how I got in and all. If the agent checking me in would have seen me at 4:45 am when I went to leave there might have been a problem.

Is there never a time for that. I will say that the COPA FAs have not had many request for that as they looked at me funny when I ordered that drink and another drink that someone else ordered, oh that was the Non-Lurkers's screw driver. Also on my trip the Bailys and Coffee came as two seperate items as she thought I was ordering two drinks and not one.

ROFLMAO, that is a good discription. This was during the flight were we thought the CO MM was going to be taken off the plane as we thought he was dead. Apparently he had only just fallen asleep from talking with someone on the phone (yes, I have pics to prove)!!

Yes, just do that and sit back and watch the upgrades come in! BTW, if you are doing the LAX-PTY segment hope for the upgrade as this is a hard one and one of the few routes that COPA gives out the amenity kits which unlike CO are really cool looking and very usefully as they are basically a 4x5x2 inch hard sides travel case!!

How full were your flights?

In FC there were all full with the exception of perhaps JFK-PTY. BTW, unlike what the agent in JFK may tell you, you should be able to leave the Osis at 4:30 to make the flight. This is a great place to gather snacks for the day in PTY! One thing we noticed when we got the upgrades last night is apparently COPA's system doesn't see your seating preferences from CO.Com as the person upgraded last got the asile that several of us earlier upgrades have as our profile prefrence.

Not to discount the great COPA experience (battlefield upgrade at MEX by GA who remembered both SteveGadFly and I by name on the boarding pass only) but be carefully of waterbugs on your flights. Only had one bad experience on the PTY-JFk flight were FT Lurker killed two and two got away. I tend to think that this was a catering issue as we had the same plane MEX-PTy and two of us upgraded to FC didn't see or hear of any issues on that flight.

I guess I got the US experience today that most get on their first flightd. Still not bad enough to push me away from them. I can say I am still kinda in shock that my US flight operated by Republic Airlines was the only CLT-JFK flight to make on friday and had I not made the SDC the night before due to weather i would not have had a good weekend and the BOX Mini Do would have been uneventful!! :)

Good news for you. You paid the same amount as last year (if you did buy cookies) and got less cookies this year. So, you'll be able to keep the weight off!:D

I understand the money goes to a good cause - I'm sure my daughter will be in the girl scouts if my wife has anything to do with it, but just keep the same amount and raise the price by a quarter or so.

She must have been getting used to me ordering, I never order mine mixed, I always got rum/whiskey/cognac without them mixing anything.

No doubt, missing roads and a good 50% of the main roads not having a name listed, only the MAJOR roads had names on them, and accessing those at times was very hard due to the nature of forced turns and buses cutting you off or running you over.

BTW watch out for trying to turn around in a taxi turnaround, they will stop and almost back into you ;)

na pty-jfk was not battlefield, it was late, but PTY-MEX and LGA-IAH were boarded to coach and pulled up.

they don't load them on flights that do not use them, makes sense but Scott had to ask anyway (I think a couple others did as well)

If I had a choice of a middle exit row or a regular aisle/window seat, I would take the regular E- seat, but maybe that's just me

I've wondered this on WN flights that aren't full before. I've seen people take a middle seat over available aisle or window seats, when traveling alone. I don't get it. Why would you do that? But some people are just odd.

I did ask a woman on WN to move to an open aisle or window seat, or to let me out of the window seat I was on so I could move. The plane was maybe 40% full and the only occupied middle seat on the entire plane was where this woman, a solo traveler, sat, next to me. She didn't get why I was asking her so I just told her and the guy in the aisle seat to let me out. The door hadn't closed, but boarding was finished. I didn't mean to be a jerk about it, but there was no way I was going to be sandwiched between this woman, who wasn't enormous but wasn't small either, and the wall of the plane for two hours when plenty of good seats were empty.

I was way behind on my flights. I caught up my personal FM last night and plan to add my flights to the Box FM later this week. I figure it needs some ATL/MSY/BTR/BPT and ERJ action.
