Sounds like the CO boarding area at MSP.

handy tip, carry a respirator with you to MEX, you may need it to get past the never ending sewer gas smell.

So it smells like Bourbon Street.

not at the time I went to Bourbon St. But I haven't been that at any hopping times.

isn't CO boarding area at MSP an oxymoron since it is an RJ and hardly anyone board there because CO doesn't care about MSP? (or DCA or BOS)

That is pretty sad!

Sad is a good adjective for the entire club. It's not my first visit here, so I knew what to expect. Still beats waiting in the concourse.

Before DL decided to take over the world, and CO and NW were a nice happy couple, CO had a pretty decent operation at MSP, with mostly mainline equipment. However, a significant chunk of those passengers were due to the partnership with NW. IAH-MSP origin/destination traffic isn't all that wonderful, and CO doesn't have the number of smaller mainline jets it had just a couple of years ago.

In MEX we went 6/6 in customs secondary screening, and MEX baggage rummage at the gate. (oh 6/6 not needing it)

PTY we were not so fortunate, but most of us they just unzipped took a quick peek and zipped back up.

That is one of the darkest lounges I have ever visited. Like you said though, it beats the terminal.

I understand that fully. CO needs to get some ERJs or C series ASAP(that is not really possible to do ASAP since not even one flying yet!).

Yes, it is very dark, which is odd because there are a decent number of windows. The lighting is just very dim.

They've got around 250 ERJs already. :D

I know, you mean the EMB-170/175 series. We all wish CO had those.

off the subject...there was a 732 taking off right behind me today at IAH, it looked almost like a coast guard paint job but no titles, have you seen this before, know what airline/company operates it?

I see that the main forum is really incapable of taking a joke.
