I'm tired from the dig out. More from over heating as I didn't have the air vents open on my jacket.
Agenda for the afternoon. Lunch, nap, hockey. |
Good afternoon Box from a snowy Central NJ.
WE have about 15" of snow on our driveway, and much deeper drifts elsewhere. The roads are fairly clear, so getting to the train station for the trip shouldn't be too bad tonight. Baglady and Plus1 - my thoughts and prayers are with you. |

Edit: PDA still works, though. |
Watching people freak out at @continental on Twitter is rather amusing. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but it amazes me that, in 2010, people still don't understand what happens to air travel during bad weather.

The most disturbing part of this article is a Senator using "have" thrice in the span of eight words.

At least they're thinking about the possibility of bad weather impacting their flight. :-:

The best one I've ever heard still belongs to my future mother-in-law, who wondered if the car service would show up to take us to the airport if there was a blizzard. |

Well got my first(3/5) MEX hotel booked-looks like it's the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel and Towers for me.
Now struggling with what to do on the PTY layover any of the travelers on 3/27 got anything booked yet for MEX? For upgrades, if you want a large room, ask them to please give you a room across from the elevators (junior suite). If instead you prefer a great view, ask for a room that looks out onto the Angel of Independence (corner suite) - it's an awesome view although the room is not as nice ... it's really two connecting rooms: one set up as a living room, the other a bedroom. As a plat, you'll also get breakfast in the Tower club room. :) |

My proposal to teach the course in Korea was rejected - wouldn't expect the institution to offer a special course in Managerial Economics (e.g. "Economics as Actually Used in Business").
