Yep. I'm at teh Hilton MEX that night, due to the quick-turn (and am working a 4-stay, 50,000 HHonors Points Promo).

Just figured out stays 3 and 4 for the Promo. Hilton LAX and ES LAX South, to book-end my Oz trip. I don't feel as bad booking away from SPG when I know it's just an airport hotel.

I enjoy a lack of change. ;) This property has been renovated in the last two years though, so it's pretty nice. But the standard rooms are tiny; I'm usually able to get a larger room out of the desk agent upon check in but we'll see what happens.

To be fair, Marriott started a renovation project several years ago. All rooms and hotels still look identical -- that's their positioning, after all -- but they're up to 2004 or so.

Make sure you put the casks of brandy around their necks.
