Thanks. ^ The possibility of taking a bump will lessen the sting if I end up having to pay for MRs that I now cannot go on.

I hear ya!^ I'd go in your place -- if I could!;)

Hey, all! WWTBD?! I saw this deal for an HP PC from Staples:
http://www.staples.com/HP-G60-630-La...laptop-_-offer

I really need a new laptop & was wondering what more 'technologically-advanced' folks think -- if this is a 'deal' worth considering!

How much will you be traveling with new laptop?
15.6 is rather big. I'd be leaning towards 11.6
and 479 doesn't seem "all" that hot but no big holidays coming up for true bargins

An elite customer should know better then that. I wonder if this agent deals with peons (like myself on Monday).

Indeed. The last thing I want is Teh Governator knocking on my door.

CM -- A good friend of mine does an online series called Governator Guy. The best one is from 10/20/2009 -- called Popenator Guy

Worth taking the time to listen! You've got to enter Governator Guy in the search box, then scroll down and select Popenator Guy.

I'm pretty sure the EWR spare is a 777. Between TLV, PEK, PVG, NRT, HKG, and LHR, they need a 777 as the spare. A 762 would be useless for the majority of widebody flights out of EWR.

I actually just noticed that "parking lot" on my last trip on the AirTrain (first weekend in Feb.) and snapped a picture. It was indeed a 777, and just looked pretty funny next to a Dash 8 and an E145 in matching colors - sort of like the Three Bears family of planes.

The IRS accepted my e-filed tax return. High point of my day thus far.
