Just completed OLCI. I'm number 5 on the waitlist for an upgrade with only 1 seat available. :( And I'm booked in a middle seat.:eek::rolleyes::eek:

My choices on seats were either the non-reclining exit row or 8B or something way in the back. I love sitting at 2L on the 757s with all that leg room. I can handle the middle seat given that extra space.

Plus I figure that there will be some no-shows tomorrow with the weather.

I'm sure you can count on that!:-:^ Where are you off to?!;)

Big ole flakes coming down here, and I guess it'll be going for a day. Guess I was wrong in doubting the weather forecast. :o

Yeah -- see what you did!:D Ya gotta watch it with those 'magical powers' of yours!;):D:D:D:

Oh, ya mean that we all carry that  'vibe' around with us -- & it emanates from our bodies -- but sticks like velcro when in contact w/fellow B:rolleyes:Xers?!;):D Interesting!
CO hasn't CXL a load of mainlines into EWR yet. But, a lot can happen between now and tonight.

I hear ya -- I think it's just gonna get messier!

Just status matched to Kuntry Inn and Suites by Carlson. Looks like I'll have a few stays with them next week. At $71 a/i in Long Island City, Queens its not all that bad and the hotel is only about a year old. Im praying for some Jacuzzi suite upgrades :D

I am kicking myself for booking the DT Metropolitan Sunday night at a non-refundable rate of $117 a/i after I found out about the Carlson property.

Hello, Box - first part of morphing into an Android is complete!

I have successfully managed to transfer my contacts from outlook to google.

Now I have to figure out how to answer an incoming call while I am already on a call ....

PHL-IAH-SJC on Saturday...we are booked on 657 and 421 as it stands. I'm thinking the seatmap on 657 will only get worse if any kind of weather hits Philly, and the weather waiver did get extended to PHL for Friday but not Saturday.

she's awake!;) GL on your travel plans!^

Good morning Box. Already through my first conference call wherein participants mostly complained about weather in NY/NJ. Glad I came in early for that.

Today's (first) moment of Zen.

I'm tryin got do a slightly bettor job of monetizing my travel tools site. That means referral links for bookings. Lots of airlines offer these so I'm signing up. They all have restrictions on what one can and cannot do to generate traffic on the site, including specific search keywords that are prohibited. AF includes some awesome ones, including just about every permutation of airplane and crash that I would have considered. Really quite entertaining. :D

I stayed at one of those once (by IAD) and remember it as being very Midwestern in decor, reminiscent of the hotel in St. Louis used for the wedding scenes in Up In The Air (where I have also stayed). The rate is certainly good. I wish you a very short stay there.
