For those curious about NBC's :rolleyes: decision to throw the USA-Canada Hockey game on MSNBC - the ratings of the game still exceeded those of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The one big advantage to the game being on MSNBC is the lack of commericals. Typical NBC broadcast is 1/3 commericials, 1/3 Costa, 1/3 actually events (including yacking away waiting for stuff)

I'm fairly certain one could bet on curling if one chose. I wouldn't bet on the U.S. (men's or women's against any country) but ...
