Speaking of all this Pres. Plat stuff, I wonder if they plan on refunding a prorated portion of the Pres Plus MC annual fee?

It's very athletic but I have trouble with events completely at judges' discretion.

The judging is completely effed up. So much for the new scoring system and how it made the sport better. Pffft! It so did not!

Plus1 thinks I'd make an excellent judge ;)

The judging of certain events is the only reason I don't consider them "sports". Same for ski jumping ("there is no style, there's just jump far and land") as well as events the U.S. owns such as snowboarding.

I think the solution is to take the inland route. Then I usually just take a couple wrong turns on one-way streets and pass a couple burned out bodegas on the way. But I get there eventually.

If the van is sufficiently beat up I think we'll do OK in terms of not being targets. I also think it is better than an SUV and we need something big to get six of us around town. :-:

CM, right now on NHL Network there's a 2 hour special on your favorite goalie. Lots of NJ Devil stuff.

Although the U.S. has the hammer, this end is shaping up oddly.

Yawn (at curling). That is all.

It's not action-packed like hockey but incredibly strategic.

Skill level has been down, according to the announcers last night -- lots of 1 point ends. (that's what she said)

Good shot -- 2 shots ahead, this may be a good USA end.

I've tried to watch. I've sat through two full matches. I just can't get into it. Enjoy it. The USA won't be getting any medals in that sport this winter.
