hmmm,Jet Blue from RDU to JFK($209)-never flown em
or
US RDU-DCA-LGA and public transport to JFK(and return for a 6:30a departure out of LGA) ($221)

Seems like a no-brainer to me

Is it just me or is Al Michaels' hair getting darker as he gets older?

B6 > US anytime, anywhere. Even comparing US domestic F to B6 EML, I think B6 wins.

I believe he started coloring it when John Madden left so that he didn't look ancient compared to Cris Collinsworth.

Do Starwood stays that are booked through an event rate earn stays/points?

The mobile site was killing me today. Only half my posts were making it through. :(

And the PTY PC WiFi is whacked; DHCP isn't working. So I'm tethered.

Anyone know what to expect for a cab ride out of MEX tonight in terms of costs for about a 5 mile trip? Is it metered or negotiated?

I can stay at the HH at the airport for $175a/i or at a Whndham for $95a/i. Plus the Wyndham is in town somewhere so there's a chance I get something cultural out of it, in addition to the 5,000 miles. I'm just not sure I want to deal with that at midnight.

Agreed, shame it's turned into nothing but a money battle though.
Maybe some of that technology will filter down to us weekend cruiser\racers

unfortunately I don't see carbon fiber hulls and wing sails coming to Wednesday night races near you.

Thanks. Wyndham it is, I believe. Assuming I can get my account configured for BD credits. Their system is nuts, with two different account numbers, different logins and other .

I'm exhausted. The 4 hours of sleep on the flight down just wasn't enough for me to be functional out here today. I turned the wrong way down one-way streets twice in the rental car, though in my defense they weren't particularly well labeled and were easy to miss. Might have to take a nap here in the PC.

What would you do if there was a set of bags at a chair in the PC that no one had been near in over an hour? Tell the front desk?

Maybe point it out to the agents, to find out who they belong to. DO they have the storage space like some of the USA PCs?

Roughly a minute after I pointed it out the guy showed up and collected his bags. Go figure.

There is a storage room here. There are also 5 PCs hooked up to the internet. I believe this is the only PC that offers such.

Speaking of storage-this would be for PTY- are there lockers there?
With that 9 hour layover, sure would be nice not to have to haul my bag around. This trip is tagged onto a business trip so will have to have some baggage I think

kingalien Feb 14, 2010 3:31 pm

Howdy Box from Hyatt Dulles. Only 11 of us in F today on UA LAS-IAD 752.

No lockers in the PC; just open storage.

If you are renting a car anyways just toss the bag in the trunk. No big deal.
