Update on the Lake House: laminated joists ??? were delivered today and set in place. At least, I think that's what they were! Huge pieces of lumber that will support the floor joists, etc.

Sounds ^ Another recipe bookmarked :D

Go back to the page that the recipe is on and click on the link to the whole episode. The steak prep and sandwich prep were done on the same show and you need both to make it work correctly.

My wife braised some lamb shanks in red wine, garlic, onions & thyme for a few hours. It was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious.

It doesn't say which special ops, but it does confirm that they are special ops.

Oh, man, that is sooooooo annoying. Sorry to hear that.

Near the end of the dotcom era, I once flew to DEN to learn all my students for the week's class had been laid off. The worst part? Recall I once had an emergency landing on the way to DEN ...

My replacement kindle arrived this morning at 9.00am.

Perfect wireless reception. Defective kindle sitting right alongside it had zero reception. 5 bars on one, zero on the other.

Defective kindle packed up ready to ship back tomorrow.

I will be using my new bright, shiny kindle on my MR tomorrow. :D Have downloaded three novels, and have about 50 on my wish list!

good thing I got a $25 gift voucher for Kindle in my secret santa swag bag at the weekend!

Then they are CCT's. They are the only special ops contingent capable of bare-bones ATC. There are several flavors of units that can go in and provide forward air control for putting bombs on target, but for the real non-bombing traffic control function you need CCT's.

Laminated Beam. Joists sit on beams. It's laminated if it looks like a bunch of boards glued together. If it looks like a bunch of long chips glued together then it's more common to call it an engineered beam. Laminated beams are also engineered beams.

Here's to a evening with zero delayed bags since the flights are hours late and how do you explain that to someone....yes your bag is not on this flight, yes I know we had hours to make sure all the bags were loaded but failed to do so.

Good luck! We've had some  with CO lately on baggage including yesterday when one bag got put on an earlier DFW-IAH flight; problem was that was an RJ going into B :rolleyes:. At least it was there.
