I do not recall a survey of the Box Denizens inquiring as to the most convenient date for the group. ;)

If you had done that, we could alert the nearest Costco so that it could stock up and not run out of Champagne. :D

Hope the situation looks better for us the weekend after next. I'm wondering if your flight is full because it is a holiday tomorrow? Maybe some people are taking the whole week off? Grasping at straws here...... :D

I was surprised how busy EWR was yesterday evening but I've never been there on a Saturday evening for comparison. It simply could have been all the international travelers.

I remember as a child in BKK that, when we were having great feasts involving roast suckling pig (which is, of course, much more of a Chinese dish - as many things there were) that the ears and tail were highly coveted prizes. I'm not sure why, as there probably wasn't any actual meat on them... :p

Ironically, since I bet a lot of the foods I've eaten and enjoyed would be on some people's "weird" lists (though less likely in this adventurous crowd), two of the three foods that I will admit to "actually disliking" (as opposed to "no particular love for it, but neutral) are extremely standard, normal things. Swiss cheese and barbeque potato chips? Ugh. You can have them.

(The third food is tamago, that sweet-egg-omelette stuff that often appears in sushi assortment platters. Not a fan.)

A hint how off air travel is. I noticed yesterday that they closed the P1 Parking lot at EWR.

DCA in the mid-afternoon and then the LGA Marine Terminal were nearly deserted. The plane was nearly empty but the FA said that she had much heavier loads earlier in the day.

Thank you, sir. :-: There will be an announcement of the date once the ink is dry, and there will likely be a lag between the wedding and the honeymoon. I am not at all opposed to having a Copa Got Married Box Do.

This post would be contrary to that theory.

Interesting. My Flyer Talk showed that you had posted at 1124 but it did not show up here.

Additionally, only the first line of the above-quoted post is visible. Strange.

I gave Mr.Brit an absolutely hilarious VD card. On the front is says:

To the man who has everything.

Inside it says:

From his wife who puts it all away

:D:D:D:D:D

Anyone who knows Mr.Brit, know he is a pack rat and (even though he doesn't agree) never puts anything away!

so then, mr. carsonheim must be a polygamist with a second family.... so THAT'S where he goes when he says he's doing a MR... hmmmmmmmm

That thread looked fun. I finally gave in and contributed to the Smisek thread.

In other news, I just got yelled at in CAPS by a 19-year-old.

Now a look at the previous page does not show the supposed sbm12 1124AM post and now does show the entire subsequent post at 1128. We shall now leave it to him to explain to us what happened.
