Same here. I was more scared of our security people than being in the building alone. I would never mark down what floor I was on and would take the stairs to the floor so they couldn't wach the elevator cameras.

You're better off driving up to Woodbury Commons in upstate NY or there is an outlet mall by Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.

^ to Woodbury, though I question the classification of it being "upstate".;) Had a ball there one day when the Mikasa store was closing.

Thanks, all. Not sure if the shakes I have are nervous shakes or caffeine shakes. I think I hit it out of the park; we shall find out on Monday if the hotel agrees with me. Extra-large thank you to Tinkerer for the document review. :-:

 Good point.

Here's a shot from the top of the Innsbruck ski jump - notice the cemetery at the bottom. Could come in handy.

Except that the ICC has nothing to do with these comps. There are many problems with the ICC but this is most definitely not one of them..

I will admit I don't know all the UA ins and outs, but I have heard first hand from those that call the ICC to complain and get $50 vouches for the most minuscule things, not to mention insane rerouting due to minor scheduled changes, weather, etc. These all cost the company greatly in the end.

The skyKits seem to be another open ended area for abuses, that need to be controlled better.

How about a gift card to Sephora? Most 18yr old girls I know love anything to do with the "body" - bath foam, soaps, make-up, hair care products, etc.

But, it depends on how much you want to spend. You could go all out and buy her a really nice bag - most 18yr olds love to carry a "label" bag. Paging baglady! Paging baglady!

Was trying to avoid THE gift card route

I suggested we maybe split cost of a TV(guys' solution-must have a power switch)

what about one of those pink/red/blue/purple mini microwaves? good for a college student, and allowed in many dorms.

I forgot to mention, my parents had 6 inches of snow in east texas, and without power now

one of the dogs is out playing in the snow digging tunnels into it.
