Sounds like you are striking a good deal for them!!

Considering this is the upper division course that had 42 students last term, the university would get almost $35,000 in revenue and the number I threw out would be total compensation paid (salary, retirement, mandatory health / government contributions).

Much fun to be had there. :-:

Apparently the plane that crashed was a small plane (likely a Cessna or something) and it hit the FBI field office here in town.

I just looked at my average flight and I am at 712!! I am worse than SteveGadFlys and I have actually been many places, just taken a lot of short flights that cause an imbalance in the force!!

On actual flight miles, I wouldn't doubt that I would be even lower

I found the $136, but it's not same-day....or do you book two one-ways?

I'd definitely book it as two one-way fares to get the extra $5 co.com club bonus. :-:

I could see that ending in a drowning... Though with the changed cooler and open container laws, we may be safe. Maybe.

Shaun White is so much better on the snowboard halfpipe than anyone else, it is amazing he did that double mc with no speed at all.

I saw the human interest story (Tuesday night I guess) where they showed him helicoptering in to practice on his own private halfpipe, away from all the competitions' prying eyes. Not kidding.

I saw something burning on the way to work - it was to the west of 35 north of Parmer - at least that's how it appeared.

Edit - separate fire - not the plane crash.

Just booked two PHL-EWR-SNA-IAH-PHL on 3/8 and 3/9. Had a SAT run on hold and noticed that SNA could be done twice.

Ugh pulled into gas station filled tank. Went to leave an click, some guy tried to jump it, but no good.

Looks like the alternator, is it too much to ask for some damn warning before these things fail.

Sorry to hear - click and inability to start could be the voltage regulator (e.g. "the reason scoow had to drive me around at Greasy Spoon Do")

That guy is scary good.

I like how he was joking at the top before his "victory lap" run about just running straight down the middle of the pipe for run #2.

The amazing thing was the superimposition that showed how much air he got compared to the others. He had to be 25-30 feet over the pipe.

I used to be an OK super pipe rider and by ok I mean getting getting about 2 feet above the lip and landing 360s, and this guy is off the charts. These new pipe walls are so vertical that the required speed to get that high is insane.

I tried that, and CO would not give me something to get home same-day in a sufficiently cheap bucket.
