NOTE, this wiki may have some broken links, so please bear with us for a week or do until we get round to the less than glamorous task of checking them all.

This thread gives the current catering options for the LHR T5 Concorde Room (all day) and First Dining Room within the LHR T3 Galleries First lounge (after 18:30). Eligible passengers include BA First ticket holders, Premier and Concorde Room cardholders. The catering in both lounges is supplied by BaxterStorey, who took over the contract on 2 May 2013.

The current catering options in the LHR CCR can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. In addition, there are a selection of
- bar snacks, details found in post 7 or you can click here
- teas list, details found in post 68 or you can click here
- drinks list, details found in post 69 or you can click here
- cocktails list, details in this separate thread click here

There are also photo guides (updated with October menus) which you can see in the following linked posts:

I will happily try it again tomorrow afternoon whilst I am in there. And I agrer, the presentation of CWs’s version is better than the one you had @Ldnn1 - I still have that photo but KARFA rejected it for the photo guide.

Ain't gonna win a beauty contest, but it makes it funny/cute/paradoxical that the kitchen clearly made an effort to prepare a pretty quenelle of the mash! Personally, I'll look forward to the ribeye Tobias-Uk kindly announced making it to the menu!

Currently no grapefruit juice in the CCR so no BA175. Making do with orange juice instead.

Cod

Here's the pork-wrapped cod. It was very dry and I wouldn't choose it again.

I think I'll give a go to all of the newcomers! I take the point about the cod being dry but I'll admit that the concept appeals to me. Crab cakes can be nice if they are well made, and I'll try the vegetable fricassee despite wishing it would come without a wine and cream sauce. And chocolate millefeuille, whilst not a millefeuille (if it is indeed, the usual one) is always pleasant.

Mrs Y and I had the cod loin yesterday. It was very over cooked and dry. The waiter said they had received a number of complaints. Shame he didn’t mention that when we ordered.

Greetings all. My first post on FlyerTalk, despite having been a reader for some years now. Thanks for having me.

My next itinerary, on Monday, will nudge me over to GGL/CCR, so CCR menus are about to become more relevant to me. That said, the couple of times I've been in the CCR previously, I've wrestled with a challenge which is the subject of my question.

My typical itinerary is MAN->LHR->SFO/DEN/JFK (or somewhere else in the states). So, when flying first, my day looks like: get on CE flight MAN->LHR and get given something nice to eat and drink. Get to LHR and go into CCR, and be plied with posh wine and a full meal. Then get on plane, for 10 hours, and be given a steady stream of food and more posh wine in F. It's a lot of eating (and drinking) and sometimes, I entrirely skip the food and bev in either the lounge or the plane, which seems a massive waste when that's a lot of what you're paying for.

How do you guys plan your day when it comes to eating and drinking in CCR then on the plane? Do you just recommend a huge appetite and strong constitution? Or does anyone have a strategy.
