In that case I'd choose row 5 (see picture in link) but which has a missing window but on an overnighter that wouldn't really matter. It's next to the galley though.

Or alternatively in the mini cabin in row 11 (AB or JK) but in WTP just behind im sure theres bassinet seats which might but unlikely to cause an issue.

Personally I'd choose row 5.

There are pictures of the minicabin in the thread I've linked, somewhere!

Best window seat in updated 777 Club World cabin. Type 77M

Hi everyone thank you for the informative thread. I’m flying LHR to EWR on 6th Jan 23 and it has the new Club World suites. Type 77M.

My question, I love window seats, which seat offers the best window views?

6A or 7A?

I did fancy 5A but I see there is only one window. I’ve been trying to find a good review of the smaller cabin online / YouTube to no avail so if anyone knows of such a review I would be appreciative.

thank you again for your help.

Honestly 5A is fine. I think it has 1.5 windows. I think there is a picture somewhere upthread.(post 1330 by hp12c- the picture below is from that post- not mine)
Barring that not much difference on 6 or 7A apart from 7A is a bit closer to the galley.

I’ve chosen seat 6A in the smaller Club World cabin

Thank you everyone, you’re posts have been most helpful. I’ve chosen 6A in the smaller Club World cabin. There looks like there are plenty of windows. Anyone sat here?

My other half has and she had no complaints about 6A. The mini cabin is definitely the right choice in my opinion.

Is the easiest way to tell by looking at the seat map and if there are backwards seats its the old product?

Yes but the simplest way to look at it is the Club Suites, the newer version of 'Club World/Business Class' are only 4 seats in total across on all the 777s.

If you see the Wiki you'll see what I mean.

Check MMB and see the Wiki here to see what configuration type of 777 your on then post back here? Also, when is your flight? If it's ages away it could be changed again!

There's also the Seating Queries - Club World thread but there are many posts in here re best seats etc

Old style really isn't that bad and its a fairly 'short' long haul your on.

Ignore Seatguru completely.

Wiki is useful on this thread.
Seat guru is completely useless now. For accurate placement of windows, galley and Toilets, aerolopa is excellent but no seat reviews.
If you know what subtype of the 777 you are flying on and if the wiki is no useful for exact info you are after, you can always come back here for advice.

Is there a reason why on some planes the seats show up as "angled"/"diagonal" in the app (e.g. facing towards/away from the isle), while others show up as straight? My flight just got changed to a 1-2-1 777 and in the app, all the seats are showing up as straight forward. Pretty sure this is just the normal new club suites though (the 4-class layout with the single seat in row 8)

1-2-1 on BA in Club is Club suites. All Club suites at the windows face towards the windows and the middle seat face towards the centre of the aircraft. The App is not the greatest to be honest.
If you are on old 777, the seat arrangement will be 2-4-2.

My flight is in early December, and definitely now moved to 2-4-2 . Fingers crossed it gets changed again! Will all the refurbs be done by then? Put myself into 11k ( rear facing beside window) but the cabin is completely empty. Thks for help.
