I am off to SFO tomorrow and I can see they have allocated G-YMMT as the aircraft. Looking at the history on Flightradar, this plane hasn't flown since 28th Jun when it returned CPT-LHR....it only came out of CS refit in May so does anyone know where/what this aircraft has been doing for a month and a half. It didn't fly to CWL for any maintenance, so just be interested in where its been or what its been doing. Nice to see mind that its only 13 years old, so newish 777 and also the newest refit. Am booked in CS too

Seat 34k on 777-300er

I am looking at booking this seat and seeing as there is a bulkhead and exit behind it I am worried that there might be limited recline can any of you let me know what this seat is like.

Yes: LGW has 6x 77S and 6x 77T aircraft right now. The 3x 77Rs are at LHR for the moment.

Are the 3 x 777Rs expected to return to Gatters and be refitted accordingly?

They were refitted in 2019. Details here - LGW & LHR selected 777s go 10-abreast (3-4-3) in Y 2018 onwards - FlyerTalk Forums

It was always said they'd return to LGW after refit but we're now three years down the line and it still hasn't happened. Obviously there has been so much change in that time so it's possible that may not be happening now. I don't know if anyone knows for sure.

All three were operating out of Gatwick up March 2020, with G-VIIY operating there towards the end of last year before they moved to Heathrow.

Ah, OK. My old memory's playing up then as I thought they went straight to LHR after refit.

Hi. What are the pro's and con's of 5A/K or 6A/K Club Suite on 4 class 777? I've noticed possibly one window in row 5, maybe two in row 6? Are there any real benefits of being in 5 apart from being served sooner? Thanks.

I think the wiki needs tweaking to reflect the new layout of the 77R, like the 77S & 77Ts. That’s why I was asking if they’d been refitted as wiki still shows an F cabin on wiki on page 1. So potentially there could be 15 777s at Gatters if they rejoined that base.

In the bulkhead rows like row 5 (row 8 and 19 or row 9 depending on the config) there's a shelf in front of you that you can put things on. I usually put bedding and other misc. there instead of blocking the window or putting items in the footwell, the latter of which I find unsanitary.
