Those 3 77R frames still have the F cabin.

I was in 5k from LHR-LAX the other day. One advantage is that it’s the furthest seat in the front J “cabin” from the bassinet at the front of the J “cabin” behind. This is not insignificant when you have a constantly screaming infant like we did.

77M row 5 observation

Reporting in to say, seat 5A is positioned about 3” further aft than 5K which means it’s a little better for cloud air bridge gazing

Sometimes you can look inside the jet bridge!

Having recently experienced 5K and 6K, I found 5K to be a little smaller in terms of room to stretch out your legs when the seat is in fully flat mode. I’m 6’2” and was definitely more cramped in 5K vs 6K when trying to sleep. Any other posters with experience of both seats would be welcome, but it was noticeable on an overnight flight.

Hence more leg room in 5A vs 5K? (currently have 5K booked for future flight but cabin is wide open)

Hi All. This is my layout for LHR to BOM, I think this is a super old CW. I don't recognise the layout though, anyone know?

There doesn’t appear to be any difference in legroom. The seats measure about the same distance back from the corresponding bulkhead partition

I have flown in 5A and 5K in the last two weeks on a 777 - I don’t think there’s much difference between these two seats for sleeping. I’m 6’1” and have big feet and wide shoulders - it’s a squeeze to get in either seat. I’m just glad I’m not really tall!

4A or 4K. You have a window and direct aisle access (don’t need to climb over anyone)

Worth noting for the 77S based at Gatwick: As the fuselage narrows in row 1, seats 1B & 1J do feel slightly ‘in the aisle’ as 1D & 1G are angled slightly ‘over the black line’ on the floor ….. the front right of the seat juts into the actual aisle. Coupled with a small screen to prevent anyone walking in to that seat departing the galley, and pax in 1B & 1J can feel that crew and pax are walking towards them at an angle. It reminded me of the upper deck of the A380 in Club, where the aisles are very narrow.
