Depends what you are looking for really. I tend to go for row 11 most of the time as I prefer having a window seat as far forward as possible and because it has 2 windows position perfectly for me, whereas row 10 only has 1 window.

Row 10 is good in that you have the bassinet which turns into an extra table on which to put drinks. If you put the bassinet down there's a bit more room for the inside seat to get to the aisle. It also is the first to get served so you normally win the chicken or beef competition - but beware sometimes 10 JK are the last to get served depending on how the cabin crew are operating the cabin. A specific disadvantage is that you have to go a fair way back to the toilets. Also many people treat the centre seats as a gangway to get from one side of the cabin to the other.
It can be a bit of a pain to get two seats together as BA won't release 10B or 10J until less than 3 days before the flight due to a baby making a late booking; if you have status you can then phone up to get it allocated. I think Row 10 A,D,F,K might be blocked to golds but someone else might be able to comment.

Is 8K on the 77M a bad idea?
Travelling to NYC with 3 teens.
I have provisionally selected 5K/6K/7K/8K so we all have window seats in the mini-cabin but I'm wondering whether 8K is too close to the main galley to be enjoyable. I'll have to take that seat to keep an eye on said teens who are travelling without their parents.
The alternative is 10/11/12/13 A or K but they we are over the wing and don't get the views.
Any thoughts on what would be best please?

Is anyone aware of any photos of the 77J layout in the forward club cabin?
Aerolopa and BA seem to indicate the seats are offset between the middle / window rows and I'm trying to get an idea of how much. We're travelling with another couple and it would be nice to have a bit of interaction if possible (not that I'm expecting the flights to be the same in six months).

Any thoughts on WTP seats on a 77M? Currently got 21K which I can’t see any problems with, but wondered if there’s anything I’m missing. Might try to get 20K if no babies end up on the flight.

Hi,
I’m flying to BGI club in July and have heard that seat 10K (which i’m in) has a misaligned or missing window, does anyone know if it does or if it’s a load of bollocks,
Thanks.

My Apologies - I am a long time international flyer but never on BA. I have booked my first European River cruise and Viking has just made my included air reservations. We had discussed dates and time on the phone and I have my PNR now for early August on an overnight Philly to LHR flight on a 777. My problem is, when I log into BA (yes I have an Executive Club account and a nice AMount of Avios) under SEATING it says Seat Selection can only be made at checkin. Wow. I understand seat selection is not free in many categories for BA and I am very willing to pay cash or in Avios to select something decent for this overnight flight. Any ideas…..I have tried several times and cant even see a seat map. I do have an assigned seat for one leg of my return flight which is AA operated. Thank you.
