is the burger back - am due in CCR and flounge in the coming days, though, most times the burger is somewhat inedible (eitehr cold or fatty), I always order it (in addition) just to see if it has improved.

Also is the beef Galloway still there ? Thanks!

Not as of this morning. In CCR you can have lamb shoulder, in Flounge you can have chicken rendang.

Ah but does it arrive hot without having to be sent back several times and microwaved?

No idea about the burger (although it did look different). I've had 5 meals in there during the last 10 days and every one was served hot.

Beef short ribs. Had them again today. Mmmm.
That sort of thing (very slow cooked meat) works well as it doesn't suffer from hanging around for a while under the heat-lights at the buffet.

when we were there 2 weeks ago, although the burger hadnt made its comeback, they had a replacement chicken burger. It was 'okay' - they made it with mini-fillets that I do not care for.

Oh well, lets hope for an upgrade to F in a few weeks time when we fly next, so that I can try (again) the burger! Maybe, just maybe, it'll come out hot !

ADDED - okay I am so used to going to the CCR now (been very lucky with opups), that I nearly forgot they serve these delicious items in the Flounge too!

Am I slightly sad thinking I'll book a MAN-LHR-MAN trip just to try this?

Booked. I'm a weak person

If I get served chicken instead of beef, or my noodles are cold, or champagne not cold. This will result in a massive rant
