Also check Delta.com: Sometimes better offers might be available there.

The Amex referral page has a 60K offer for the Delta Personal card.

The following offers for up to 70K on personal and business:

There are several 60, 000 miles offers for the personal card with the first year annual fee waived the first year, valid through May 1, 2019. They are listed in this referral thread. These are way better than the current standard public offer of 30,000 miles shown on Delta's website

Gold Personal:
"Earn 60,000 bonus miles after you make $2,000 in purchases on your new Card within your first 3 months and $1000 more w/in 6 months and a $50 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 3 months."
https://www.americanexpress.com/us/c...elta-skymiles/

A post on Reddit suggests that you can find a 50K offer, but with a $100 credit, by doing a dummy booking on Delta.com.
The offer should appear before you have to pay for the flight. [Did [b]not work when I booked a flt today, 3/15/17.]

Gold Business:

Note: Review the recent discussion in the thread about various other ways to try to locate offers as high as 50k+$50 credit.

Getting the statement credit:
MrMoonlight successfully purchased a Delta ecert (essentially a gift card) and received the statement credit. See this post..
Jacobsta811 also received $50 credit for $50 e-cert on both gold business and gold personal cards.
muji received $100 credit for $50 eCert on Delta Platinum card
sdsearch received $100 credit for $50 eCert on business Platinum card (see this post).
vah4883 received $100 credit for $5.6 tax on Platinum card
philemer received $100 credit for buying a box lunch on board

Second one came through. I'm pleasantly surprised

Hi guys, is there some delay recently for sign-up bonus posting on Amex Delta cards? Normally Amex posts bonus 2-3 days after meeting spending requirements. For my Gold biz account it's been 5 days but still no bonus. I already received 50 stmt credit.

I have an odd situation with my Business platinum Delta card, seems part of the bonus posted early. Maybe they are having issues.

Thanks for the dp. Chatted with amex rep who told me my last two purchases (not MS, just normal shopping) hadn't been coded as "qualified purchases" and asked me to wait for stmt close.

I have been waiting almost 3 months since meeting my spend. I chatted twice and both reps said they would open a ticket but nothing. I met the spend in about 2 weeks.

With normal spend or by buying gift cards from giftcards.com? People have been denied in the latter case before, given that Amex has it in their T&Cs (sometimes, but not always, enforced, apparently) that "cash equivalent" stuff does not count toward the signup spend.

I'm just wondering how you did all "normal" spend in just 2 weeks. (Most people don't seem to meet that spend requirement that quickly.)

Same happened with me. Opened a card in April two days before the end of the 60K/$50 credit / $0 AF bonus. I haven't seen teh 60K bonus miles or statement credit.

3-4 weeks ago chatted with a rep (online chat) and she said they'd open a ticket and get back with me in about a month. Chatted again today, and they said no update, and there was a big issue recently with new cards not getting bonuses so they my account to that list.

What can we do if we met the T&Cs and they don't give us our miles? T&Cs say I should get my 60K miles within 6-8 weeks. It's been over 12.

1. The clock does not start running on the date that you made the individual transaction which crosses the spend threshold. It starts when that transaction appears on a statement. When was that statement issued?

2. The individual transaction which crossed the spend threshold has special significance in American Express's system. Was there any credit or refund issued in connection with that transaction?

3. Did you buy any giftcards (or similar) to meet the spend threshold?

There seems to be a "glitch" at Amex, affecting various partner cards' (Delta, SPG, Hilton) signup bonuses, per this Travel Code blog:

Statement posted only ~4,000 base miles but no 60,000 bonus miles. This has been 2 weeks since completing 4k spending. Looks like this will turn into a long long waiting nonsense with Amex.

Question

I was going through the book a flight process on the Delta website and after I select the return portion of the flight, I see a the following special offer:
Code:
Earn a $150 Statement Credit and 25,000 Bonus Miles

Apply for the Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express

  • $150 Statement Credit after you use your new Card on a Delta purchase in your first 3 months*
  • 25,000 bonus miles after you make $1,000 in purchases on your new Card within your first 3 months.
  • First checked bag free and Priority Boarding on Delta flights
  • $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95
But I don't see anywhere to click to apply for the card. I thought that maybe the offer requires booking the flight and applying for the card at the same time, but when I go through to the payment screen, I just see a normal section to put in an existing credit card. I don't see anywhere to apply for the skymiles amex.

Anyone know how I can get the $150 Statement Credit and 25,000 Bonus Miles special offer? If I go through the Delta homepage and go here :
https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...dit-cards.html
it is only offering $50 credit and 30K miles.

On the flight details page right below the text you copied, there's a checkbox labeled "Yes! I'd like to apply for a card now and then complete my booking." If you check this box then hit the red "Continue" button, you'll be taken to the card application form.

However, you may also want to try going straight to https://www.americanexpress.com/us/c...elta-skymiles/ inside an Incognito window in your browser. I'm currently able to pull an offer for 50,000 SkyMiles after $1,000 purchases within 3 months, plus a $150 statement credit after any Delta purchase within 3 months, plus first year annual fee waived.
