There are several 60, 000 miles offers for the personal card with the first year annual fee waived the first year, valid through May 1, 2019. They are listed in this referral thread. These are way better than the current standard public offer of 30,000 miles shown on Delta's website

A post on Reddit suggests that you can find a 50K offer, but with a $100 credit, by doing a dummy booking on Delta.com.
The offer should appear before you have to pay for the flight. [Did [b]not work when I booked a flt today, 3/15/17.]

Note: Review the recent discussion in the thread about various other ways to try to locate offers as high as 50k+$50 credit.

Getting the statement credit:
MrMoonlight successfully purchased a Delta ecert (essentially a gift card) and received the statement credit. See this post..
Jacobsta811 also received $50 credit for $50 e-cert on both gold business and gold personal cards.
muji received $100 credit for $50 eCert on Delta Platinum card
sdsearch received $100 credit for $50 eCert on business Platinum card (see this post).
vah4883 received $100 credit for $5.6 tax on Platinum card
philemer received $100 credit for buying a box lunch on board

Primary cardholder. AFAIK the only giftable MQM are those from the Reserve Mileage Boost (that is, the Delta Plat Mileage Boost is not giftable either).

Upon booking at delta.com, gold 60k+$100+first year fee waive offer appears. That's $50 better than the one in the wiki.

Does anyone know if I upgrade to the Platinum card ( I currently have the gold) before my one year is up with the gold, so right before renewal (I have an upgrade offer on my account now), if i will get the companion certificate at that renewal or do I have to wait the full year?

I am trying to decide if its worth it to go the upgrade route for only 25k but I get the certificate without having to wait the year or if I just flat out apply fora new card at 70k points.

I just saw this on the Delta site as well, after I opened up the card at American Express with the $50 statement credit. I'm currently on the phone asking them to match the $100 statement credit. And they said no luck, I would have to contact Delta. Sounds like a wild goose chase.

The $100 statement credit was found only through Delta.com while I was booking a flight. The offer was at the bottom of the page.

AMEX never matches offers, IME.

I have had the Gold Business card before - opened in 2015 and closed in 2016.

I know I'm not eligible for the miles offer, however -

I can still get the card for no AF for 1 year, correct?

And would I get the $50 credit?

Amex Delta Gold Promo + Gift Card Credit?

Hi all--

A few years ago I got the Amex Delta Gold card, and cancelled it the next year before the annual fee was charged. Looks like they are doing another promo now for 60k miles--anyone know if I can still get this bonus if I sign up? I see nothing in the fine print about a once per lifetime bonus rule.

Additionally, the fine print says you can get a $100 statement credit after your first delta purchase. Anyone know if this works when buying Delta eCerts (similar to how you can get the credit with Amex Gold and Platinum)?

There's a separate forum for Amex cards (you posted in the general credit card forum), and a thread about these Amex Delta cards there:
That's where people who know would be.

I've requested the moderators to move your thread there.

Look again, for this sentence at the very top of the offer terms:

Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product.
...if you do not find it, please post a link to the offer.

omg, you are right haha. Can't believe I missed that. I just skipped to the part about 60k miles. Guess I can still do the Delta Platinum card though. Thanks!

Anyone know if the $100 statement credit will show up on a Delta purchase of less than $100? I already have $800 in Delta e-gift cards so I don't really need any more Common sense tells me that I would need $100 in Delta purchases but the wording doesn't specifically say that unless I'm missing the fine print.

Any cheaper options than the $50 Delta ecertificate if I'm not flying soon? Can I buy a pen from them or something lol?

Any Delta charge, regardless of amount, will trigger the credit. If you were flying soon an onboard snack or drink would be an easy way to do it.

So, odd question. I already have a work issued Amex Platinum. It's in my name, but its sponsored by my firm (I cant put any personal spend on it, for example). (well, the firm issues regular green cards, and I upgrade to get the lounge access).

Am I still eligible for the Delta Amex Platinum personal card and associated redemption?

TIA
