I can't see how they could deny it. The t&c's do not contain the same exclusions as appear for the Amex platinum airline fee reimbursement. In fact, the only qualification appears to be that the purchase be made within three months and be coded as a Delta merchant, which the ecert is if it purchased through the Delta site.
