6/20 8:20 SEA D lounge - Got in.
Here's a new one though: I asked them to check and see if the N lounge had the sign out before I walked over there and they refused. They said new policy was to "not save spots". I said I wasn't asking for a saved spot, just wondering if the sign was out, and again they refused saying the new policy is to not check and you have to go and see for yourself.

Was anyone denied entry when flying paid F class? Excluding those that got award/complimentary upgrades.

I am not going to run all over SEA airport checking for signs, though. If they start making me do that, it will be a guarantee that I will consider the PP benefit dead at least at that airport where the lounges are spread all over the place.

That is a totally customer-unfriendly policy. Like they don't want to be accountable, and couldn't care less about the customer experience. What would be customer-friendly doesn't require saving spots, but when the call is made, the person answering at the other club, if the sign is not out, makes an assessment of whether it may need to be put out in the next 15 minutes, and if it doesn't, then the answer is "it's not out right now and won't be put out in the next 15 minutes if you go there right now"

I would definitely write that up on Alaska Listens....everytime the sign is out, I rate my Alaska Lounge experience as a one star....typically this is the only "low point" of the entire trip as I rate everything else with top marks and give kudos to especially attentive flight attendants.
