Has anyone managed to wrangle the MPM for near-antipodal routes yet?

Made 3 calls this morning for the routes, got some pretty cagey agents who weren't so forthcoming for the information. Any information would be appreciated!

AGP-AKL
PER-BDA
PVG-EZE: found this one at 20142. Have fun with this one!

That's... incredibly generous, if you're talking in miles.

YEG-YYC-FRA-IST is a hair under 6,000.

They wouldn't quote it in kilometers, would they? It wouldn't make sense since 9196/1.6 = 5748, I assume would make YEG-YYC-FRA-IST invalid.

Just booked two one-way rewards over the phone with Aeroplan. I wasn't able to get the agent to quote the actual maximum mileages but I thought I would share my routings as they could be close to the maximums for each city pair. These routings were much further than anything I was able to price up on the Aeroplan website.

YHZ-VLC: 5213 (YHZ-YUL-BOS-ZRH-VLC)
NUE-CMH: 6778 (NUE-ZRH-IST-JFK/EWR-CMH)

I can't edit the wiki so please add these to the list if they're helpful.

So an agent quoted YEG-MEL as 13931... what are the odds YEG-PER might be more than 14927?

ETA: After itinerary optimization, I can confirm that YEG-PER is at least 14693.

I had originally wanted to book a mini-RTW from YYC stopping at NRT,BKK and IST. With the new MPM rules, it looks like routing through IST won't be possible.

Would changing my turn to SIN and buying a SIN-BKK fare be a good idea? Looks like I can purchase SIN-BKK return for less than $100 on Air Asia.

I have YYZ-ORD-NRT-SIN booked one way.

I wonder if there a possibility of adding SIN-HKG-BKK-HKT onto it.

On circle map its comes out to 13088 miles. On the Wiki it quotes YYZ-HKT - 12480 miles. Is that a set number? Would really like to get that HKG-BKK Thai F on to my trip.

Anyone attempted something like this?

Just looking at the map I'd have to say that it's not going to happen. You might be able to pull off YYZ-ORD-NRT-BKK-HKG-SIN, as I believe that keeps you under the SIN number.

So this new pseudo MPM only has one value, meaning there is no direction restriction on TA/TP any more?
