Flights operated by Air Canada rouge

NOTE: Rouge Wifi information can be found here

Dates in brackets indicate planned start of rouge service (either as a new route or replacing mainline service). ML placed before a date indicates the date that service is reverting to mainline.

All Airbus A319/A321 service is in the new Premium Rouge configuration with 2x2J seats. All other routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in a 24J/258Y layout.

Airport codes in blue indicate that these routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft for all services.
Airport codes in red indicate that these routes are split between Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus services.
Airport codes in black indicate that these routes are Airbus aircraft for all services.

Routes are organized based on the established rouge bases of YYZ, YUL, YYC, and YVR

Looks like the pitch, width and in-seat power details have also been updated. 36" pitch is an ok compromise. Still would have liked more than 8 rouge+ seats, but altogether the current configuration strikes a good balance.

Pretty good compromise indeed.

And "technically speaking", The seats are wider.*

Ironic how when AC reduces the seat width to 17.3" (787 - 9 abreast) or 17.0" (777 - 10 abreast) then everyone cares about that extra inch (or even 0.5"), but when they give an extra inch to pitch or width, it's "not a big deal".

The rouge 319 fleet map has been updated to a single layout, and seems accurate for the most part (rouge+ pitch isn't noted anywhere)

The rouge 767 still shows 2 different layouts:
https://www.aircanada.com/en/about/f...-300rouge.html

I thought all the aircraft were reconfigured to Layout 1?

We have one fin (694) that is a sister ship to 691 and 692 (ex-HA) and will have original HA interiors however it will be equipped with player, our wireless streaming IFE. It has already started flying as a spare and will go into service on 10JUN predominantly on YYZ-MAN (subject to change without notice), and reconfiguration to our standard config will take place starting October 2015 and plane will re-enter service in December 2015.

Interesting. Also noticed that the mainline 767s are down to a single config.

btw - the rouge 319 seat map no longer mentions the seat pitch of the rouge+ seats.

Air Canada rouge, a new leisure airline

Flew premium rouge on the 767 to Vegas last week. What would be a normal waiting time to get your food served? (I know a first world problem).

We took off around 8am, no turbulence or anything that would keep the cabin crew to start the meal service, yet I was a little surprised that it took over 90 minutes before I could have my meal (meal tray arrived at 9:35am). I skipped breakfast at the lounge because I was looking forward to eat on board, so maybe the fact that I was hungry could have made it feel longer. Anyone has experienced something similar?

What is the pitch of row 12 (former row 4)?

Is YOW-MCO in July still safe, or has it been rouged and they just forgot to mention that in the timetable?

YOW is not listed in the Wiki at the top of this thread at all, but I see several reports of Rouge flights to/from YOW in this thread. So I'm confused. :-)

I would assume they will keep some Comfort Plus seating in order to glean a little incremental revenue, so it is either squish the remaining seats laterally or longitudinally to create the extra capacity.

Here's hoping I never fly Rouge, I'm sure multiple parts of my body would end up that colour after a TATL flight.
Rouge seats are not bad on the 767. 319's are a different story.

I'd just add that rouge seats in the preferred seat rows aren't bad on the 767. It's still pretty tight further back.

Tight, but livable

My opinion, having flown the old row 4, and the new J row 12 yesterday is it's a hair less than the old advertised 35", likely 33/34", as it felt tighter to me. However the ends of the new J seats are also much thicker, and a bit longer, so you definitely lose more space if sitting at the window or aisle, as well as under the seat in front. Also, as someone already mentioned, the tray table is now in the armrest.

I'm looking at flying to LAS on UA, in order to avoid rouge. Does anyone have any good tips on excluding UA codeshares on rouge flights from ITA Matrix search results?
