Flights operated by Air Canada rouge

NOTE: Rouge Wifi information can be found here

Dates in brackets indicate planned start of rouge service (either as a new route or replacing mainline service). ML placed before a date indicates the date that service is reverting to mainline.

All Airbus A319/A321 service is in the new Premium Rouge configuration with 2x2J seats. All other routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in a 24J/258Y layout.

Airport codes in blue indicate that these routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft for all services.
Airport codes in red indicate that these routes are split between Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus services.
Airport codes in black indicate that these routes are Airbus aircraft for all services.

Routes are organized based on the established rouge bases of YYZ, YUL, YYC, and YVR

Air Canada rouge expands service to sun destinations

July 23, 2015
Starting this fall, Air Canada rouge expands service on a range of routes serving popular vacation destinations, previously operated by Air Canada. Customers who have already booked tickets with Air Canada on these routes will be contacted by Air Canada or their travel agent with more information about their flight and travel options.

New Air Canada rouge routes include:

Montreal to:
  • Fort Lauderdale starting December 16, 2016
  • Tampa starting January 15, 2016
  • West Palm Beach starting January 15, 2016
  • Nassau starting January 17, 2016

Toronto to:
  • Sarasota starting October 24, 2015
  • Fort Lauderdale starting October 25, 2015
  • Panama City starting October 25, 2015
  • Barbados starting January 7, 2016

Vancouver to:
  • Kona (Hawaii) starting December 19, 2015

The Air Canada rouge flights will feature a recently updated Premium rouge cabin with larger seats in a 2+2 configuration for more comfort. You’ll also be able to take advantage of new amenities, including in-seat power outlets and iPad Air 2 tablets loaded full of the latest Hollywood releases and games.
Find out more about Air Canada rouge.

rouge A321 configuration

Did not see this posted yet, but the rouge A321 configuration is on AC.com now - 16J/184Y: http://www.aircanada.com/en/about/fl...-200rouge.html

I'm surprised at 16J considering mainline is only at 14J. I was expecting 12J to be consistent with the 319s. A little disappointed that there are not more rouge plus seats.

I'm even more concerned that they're putting Y class at 29" ... which seems to signal that AC's "treat Rouge customers like garbage and hope they'll tolerate it" strategy continues.

I'd hoped that they'd do the (better) Rouge 763 seat pitch. I'm shocked that there replicating the 319 experience.

So 37 people happy, and 163 with banged up knees.

I guess we can look forward to more reports from the west coast about how great Rouge is from people who only sit in J or preferred seats, and disregard 82% of the cabin suffering in silencesilence

Also, PTY is getting rouged?
Were we not told by our resident AC staff that this was a route with lots of business traffic

I'm not shocked. Product should be aligned to offer a consistent customer experience

ewr iad sfo all have a 767-400 with 40 lay flats.
IAD i don't think is daily.
777 from ORD/IAH/DEN/LAX but not lay flats

But dont take any of these flights, Rouge is much better.

Is the seat that much better to add 4+ hours travel time, plus killing a full day?

Better YPAX:YBATHROOM than mainline E90.

Enhancement confirmed.

I'm guessing that December 2016 start date for YULFLL is a typo if YYZFLL is starting October 2015.

TPA is going 2x763 per day, I'm betting AC will put the Rouge 763s on FLL and have no trouble filling them.

Side note, the only Rouge A321 route I can see so far is YYZSRQ.

Wow ... Not long ago a few of us were lectured by the Barbadian tourism gang on here how high yielding BGI is and it would never be Rouged ... All the banking/wealth/asset holdings, blah blah blah

Indeed,
Rouge flight # 1604, 1606 are YULFLL in December

Look for 763s and 321s on YULFLL.

Fair point, though the current / new 319 Rouge aircrafts have proper J seats, so presumably pax who're willing to pay for J (or Lat fares) would now be more likely to book AC again / are less likely to book another airline.
