Flights operated by Air Canada rouge

NOTE: Rouge Wifi information can be found here
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-c...l#post28448087

Dates in brackets indicate planned start of rouge service (either as a new route or replacing mainline service). ML placed before a date indicates the date that service is reverting to mainline.

All Airbus A319/A321 service is in the new Premium Rouge configuration with 2x2J seats. All other routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in a 24J/258Y layout.

Airport codes in blue indicate that these routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft for all services.
Airport codes in red indicate that these routes are split between Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus services.
Airport codes in black indicate that these routes are Airbus aircraft for all services.

Routes are organized based on the established rouge bases of YYZ, YUL, YYC, and YVR

YYC LAS is staying rouge.
Excellent for the first 3 flights.

I can see the rationale behind YYC LAS remaining Rouge, and I don't care that it stays Rouge.

Sometimes it takes a day or two for the online system to cooperate.

Ha. yes, unless you're just rolling around in extra credits, it is better spent on upgrading ML.

Since they are playing rouge roulette/roulette rouge, those of us with rouge tickets should keep an eye on our reservations...

Thanks! That actually helped (I had only tried to access the seat map twice... silly me )

I care! I go at least once a year, and occasionally twice.

YUL-FCO was also recently switched back to mainline.

What's the reason for that?

well, if AC has bag fees TATL, would LH/UA/LX/OS/SN not have to follow suit?
(plus, I take it that far more people have *G to waive bag fees, than WS status.)

This is a new initiative for revenue enhancement. If AC can force pax to stand up half the time they can double-sell each seat. They are still trying to figure out how to meet the requirement that all pax must be seated at take off and landing. This might be met by having pax lie in overhead bins at those times; the bins would become available if AC goes through with charging more for overhead bin use than checked luggage.

Not sure why people pay for their bags? Today LAS-YYC flight was packed and they checked in 20 to 30 roller bags at the gate for free.

So what is AC teaching these people? Don't pay as its free if the flight is full!

I was laughing when the mother and daughter who sat next to me were saying how nice the plane was and all of the room they had.......until they tried to put their roller board under the front of their seat

Looking at sched/fares.. Likely an IT Goofup.. Summer sched isn't confirmed as of yet.. Likely they just uploaded what they had and will fix it once things are settled.. Be very surprised if rouge bowed out of FCO as it was a heavy load run for them.

No it's confirmed by my supervisor, now I can't elaborate but there's many reasons why this is happening beyond just pure economic ones. Remember that the A330-300 will be reconfigured in 2017 to a density above 290 seats and most will be based in YUL (BRU, GVA, FCO, FRA, YVR, maybe LYS).

Along with the reason that Rouge really needed the 767's elsewhere.

Whoever's in charge of the site wouldn't make a screw up like that. It's to big of a change to go from rouge product to mainline.

Do you happen to know the exact configuration?

I assume the mini-J cabin will be replaced with a PE cabin? Will the new pods be installed?
