Also, I think we discussed somewhere recently that AY has included some odd codeshares in the lounge access, like SU.
If you mean AY-on-SU, that would seem normal at least for AY+ status and J - don't know about other OW tiers.

SU proper uses Almost@home at HEL.

Great, thanks! I did look up the MEL lounge (that's where I'm going on QR) at oneworld.com but didn't even think of looking up the HEL Premium... Should have done that...

Flying a OW flight operated by a non-alliance airline, wouldn't lounge access by tier be very difficult?

At least AY.com keeps repeating that flight must be operated by a ow airline. They even list the exception of SVO, KEF, LHR, where SU, FI and similar operators are exceptionally OK.

Then we might even be on the same flight! I am listed on the (see you in) HEL wiki for my HEL-MEL trip on QR.

I'll be flying mid-October, with a 2-night stopover in DOH on the outbound. Looking forward to the onboard experience and especially the catering.

They share the same entrance, they'll tell you which way to turn, no risk of walk of shame

Of course you can ask at the lounge reception but very prob no chance at that time. It is the busiest time of the day and both lounges will be packed.

There is quite a difference between the two, food and drinks are significantly better in the Premium lounge but during the afternoon rush hours both are very busy.

The premium lounge is most likely as packed. It does have a few windows though.

And you also do have access to the sauna. It's in the same place as the showers, so you are free to use it.

You can access lounge with AY+ tier on AY-marketed flight at LIS (and presumably OPO at well) on TP and at CDG on AF. It would be pretty original if it didn't work at HEL regardless of operator.

It would seem that it does not work on 3K however or does it?

I am not sure what LHR refers to. AY-on-BE?

I don't remember the old thread. Maybe we should gather a list.

After an epic Journey when I was almost ofloaded for mis understanding the china 72 visa free rules but had not been stopped in London as had done an on line check in and a stirling lady in the lounge managed to re re route my return via HK with inly seconds to spare
This am arrived at 05:30 from HK . Waited for lounge to open at 6 ; waived straight into Premium and had a very nice shower
This lounge is so much nicer
